Ok here's what i think. Free trade and wild should come back because , as others said if you or someone else wants to give someone a present they can,and you can get supplies for your friends, clan , ect and to those who say scammers and i got scammed, well stop clicking so fast you cant see whats going on, its no ones fault but yours alone and besides they had the flashing red thing at the second trade window to say hey they took the item off or changed it . and to those who go omg ill get lured and i got lured well jagex fixed that when they put the ditch there because it said planly THIS IS THE WILD DO YOU WANT TO GO? well if you did then you deserved to die because it was yet again your fault. why punish all the players who loved pking in wild, and giving high priced items away.. just because those little bit of people who didnt pay attention and watch what was going on , im not saying anything to be mean or to get flammed at but seriously jagex fixed lureing with the ditch and free trade with the confirm window with the red flash bar when anything was changed. so i cant wait for FREE TRADE AND WILD :)

The update which removed Free Trade and "old" Wilderness was the reason for lots of oldschool players to stop playing. I am pretty sure many of them will come back to enjoy the real game, not just the part of it (like limited staking or trade). Briefly speaking, GREAT IDEA, cannot wait to see it.

Free trade and the old wilderness should return to RuneScape. I spent much of my time on RuneScape merchanting and staking because I enjoy the thrill of making my own way in a virtual world beyond the capabilities of just my avatar's skills.
The return of free trade will vanquish the broken economic system that currently resides within the realms of RuneScape. The GrandExchange and its price limits only aid the inflation created by merchant clans. Deflation is hardly an option. What the average player is bound to notice is items like the Fury should in no way have ever exceeded their original pricing.
The return of the wilderness means the return of excitement. Knowing that when I kill my opponent I will receive what is rightfully mine instead of some random battle trophy. This is how we grow as a RuneScape society, with authentic danger and a free market.

I like the idea of the wild. And the trade limit its a I dont mind. Yes ive been scammed but its because I wasnt carefull about what I was doing and trusting some one I didnt know so ergo my fault. maybe if there was like a way of making it possible to send gold to people threw a mail box like on WOW people wouldnt be so quick to be upset. Sending is only possible on your account only. Just a thought.

I disagree with all the comments saying to keep the trade system as it is because they were scammed. I'm sorry but if you were stupid enough to get tricked, serves yourself right.
I think basing the trade limit on how many quest points you have was another ludacris idea. This whole system has made items severly over priced. For example, the Granite Maul. This weapon was 120k, after the new trade system, it sky rockets to 200k. Absolutely ridicolous.
This game was 110% better with free trade. They shouldn't have taken it away.

im sorry but the whole idea of this all is a rathe bit crazy but im an old scholl player, when free trade was able to do I was always giving free stuff away cause I'm nice besides my rc was high enough to trade runes for essence.with my friends. It was a nice way of helping my friends out but when the tradelimits came into play it got them off of my back. So either way both ends of this idea is some what rather intresting.maybe make it possible to vote on both ideas? I dont agree with wild I.kill the green drags for quick cash. And I.do alot of scrolls myself.

i like the old wildy to come back but i like PVPworlds as well.. what if jagex make a server called: "wildy worlds"? a pvp server but acts as the old wildy..

they should bring back the old wildy but only in some isolated servers.{because it would be impossible for players to train at wilderness if all servers have the old wildy system.}

i dont like the free trade idea. so ill pass on this issue.

there will undoubtedly be good and bad points to having both wilderness and free trade back however for those people who want to try to compromise the fact is that the reason a lot of people quit runescape is because people tried to compomise in the first place and ended up hurting the game more than healing it.
im not saying that the trade limits were bad because i think the grand exchange is great and i can see the reasoning behind the limits, although what annoyed me most about the trade limits was the fact that it took away our freedom to do what we like with our money.
i feel that if i want to give my friend money i should be able to and i would also like to be able to pay as much or as little as i want for an item.
the other problem is scamming and the ***wer to that is simple, use common sense. before people start shouting about that statement i personally got scammed quite a few times before trade limits came in and it was all my fault for not asking a friend about any high value purchases i made.
another thing to help new players avoid being scammed that i think would be quite usefull, if they bring free trade in, is a basic guide on how to avoid being scammed. the guide should basically just outline the obvious points like dont follow people into the wilderness and always double check the trade before you accept as well as asking other people if you are suspicious about an items price.
i should also add that i would prefer if they had pvp on seperate worlds still or even just a few worlds that are non pvp for things such as clue scrolls and such.
i am aware that the treasure trails and othe wilderness activities are being revised but this is just another option.
this is however simply my opinion and i accept that other people will feel differently.
