there will undoubtedly be good and bad points to having both wilderness and free trade back however for those people who want to try to compromise the fact is that the reason a lot of people quit runescape is because people tried to compomise in the first place and ended up hurting the game more than healing it.
im not saying that the trade limits were bad because i think the grand exchange is great and i can see the reasoning behind the limits, although what annoyed me most about the trade limits was the fact that it took away our freedom to do what we like with our money.
i feel that if i want to give my friend money i should be able to and i would also like to be able to pay as much or as little as i want for an item.
the other problem is scamming and the ***wer to that is simple, use common sense. before people start shouting about that statement i personally got scammed quite a few times before trade limits came in and it was all my fault for not asking a friend about any high value purchases i made.
another thing to help new players avoid being scammed that i think would be quite usefull, if they bring free trade in, is a basic guide on how to avoid being scammed. the guide should basically just outline the obvious points like dont follow people into the wilderness and always double check the trade before you accept as well as asking other people if you are suspicious about an items price.
i should also add that i would prefer if they had pvp on seperate worlds still or even just a few worlds that are non pvp for things such as clue scrolls and such.
i am aware that the treasure trails and othe wilderness activities are being revised but this is just another option.
this is however simply my opinion and i accept that other people will feel differently.
