That's funny, this account just hit it's 10 year birthday as well, and as for the experience I've gained throughout the marvelous gameplay which is that of Rune Scape, these decisions of course, are rational to an extremity.
We as the players must coordinate and respond well to the imminent changes that are on approach, because these are the changes that will revolutionize both the minds of those who run the game as well as the players who play the game.
Acceptance will soon follow after these updates are set into place, just as the acceptance that was allowed to be attained during the very first acquaintance which was actually not voted for in the first place.
There are many a methods to be explored to prevent such deceptional disastrous choices that only a fraction of the population has in their mindset.
I for one do agree upon the most popular past times of the games own history. As I recall, just before the decision was made to take these realities away, there over 500,000 players enjoying the little things ingame. After the sudden drop of both formalities the count was definitely very outstanding as it dropped to a mere 125,000 players!

Why did that happen? Now let's think for a second and wander over the big picture that's set before our eyes and notice the obviousness that was immediately in effect during those disruptive times.
I will not answer this for you, for this would be a riddle only the "worthy" can configure for themselves.
I congratulate you Jagex upon your impervious patience and tolerance towards the players of the very game you could have closed down at any time, just as you without warning, took away the two.
Things said towards the hard working people must be respectful, they are here to make things as best as they can be for the people of the community now known as Rune Scape.
You will all love these "changes" and you will respect them, please keep the negatives to yourselves and only accept the upcoming realities, trust me.

I believe Jagex are doing the right thing.Now they have improved technology at their disposal and a better methodology for sorting out RWT and Botting ,although I acknowledge it won't be erased altogether.If MG had been at the helm back then then maybe they would'nt have had to take the steps they did to circumvent the damage of RWT( I believe Mark would have had the courage to fly through the dark clouds instead of parachuting out lol).To those that are complaining about a possible return to the Wildy premise ; Numbers don't lie folks,just take a look at the numbers in the referendum!( How many of those votes are Botters?, I hear you say, lol)

Here is an example of what jagex is doing.
Say someone In real life goes out and kills someone (pvp) then say jagex made prisons (new updates to stop someone killing) Then jagex saying prisons don't work lets take them away and let people go out and do whatever they want (pvp)

Honestly,I Think That You Should put no free trading for everyone just your friends that YOU know.If you changed to completely free,than alot of spammers would join.Change it to free for friends,and increase the trade limits to random people.i know spammers are going to find a loophole.just keep wildy the same but add something to it.

for one thing theres still the combat lvl difference for pking in the wildy so the max that could wipe a lvl 3 would be in the 50's and thats if they make it to the back of the wildy and with free trade why would they need to do it that way..they'd just trade it easy simple..people will find there ways of doing things..its a fact of life there are some really smart and cunning people in this world who would do anything to make money

but as it waz said..the 99% of us who actually play the game properly and want to enjoy it will be able to do so ..but yes we need to be less lazy and report more often people keep bring up scamming... theres stupid and naive people playing this game..ofcourse scamming is going to exist if people used there common sense it wouldnt happen all you'd need to do is ask someone on the forums if your unsure about something or if its to good to be true then it probably is ..

I definitely want to see free trade return, and preferrably the old wilderness, although this is less important in my opinion.
Removal of free trade was the end of Runescape as we know it for myself and many of my friends. It ruined our method of selling our wares for the prices we wanted. It took the fun out of pking. It eliminated the ability to lend (or give) more than 1 item to a friend indefinitely. And much, much more. And we weren't alone - many players quit RS shortly after this.
What about bots, you say? Huh! I put up with players using bots for 3 years. It was hard to compete with sometimes, yes, but eventually they got what was coming to them. Ruining the game for legitimate players and bots alike by removing free trade is no solution at all. There are still players who use bots at the Fishing guild, for instance. Meanwhile, I'm being penalised because I have a 60K trade limit. Besides, Jagex said they are confident that they now have better means with dealing with these real-world traders and botters. Theres no reason to withold the return of free-trade.
As for scams, if you're stupid enough to not research the price of an item (via historic GE prices, fan sites, etc), ignore the 'wealth transfer' metre at the bottom of the trade screen, and/or click Accept without checking what you're paying for, then you deserve to be scammed. Would you buy a car in real life without first checking what its worth and that its not stolen, etc? Same deal...
I await the day that free trade and wilderness return with great enthusiasm.

Bring Back Wildneress And Free Trade? Of-course.
I Am Sick to Death Of Hearing People Say Things Such As "RWT And BOTTERS Will come back" Okay Firstly, Botting Still Exists And Most Likely Always will, Botting Now Is at or Close To A All Time high. And RWT? That Still Does exist! The Just go Different Ways About it Such As Manipulating The Grand Exchange Prices and Transferring The Money Through That To Their "Custermours." JaGex Know's This And Would Have Taken It All Into Consideration, do You Think They Would Honestly Even Think of Making This Update Without Having Plans Of Handling It, Or Maybe They Know No Matter What It'll Still Exist.
Secondly, The Wildnerness. "Omfg I Lost My Best Gear In Their" "I Was Trying to Do A Clue Scroll And Someone Attacked me!" GROW UP! JaGex Has Already Stated That they Will Move Activity Such As Clan Wars, Clue Scrolls, Corporal Beast Etc To A Much Safer Location. Know What Your Talking About Before you Post It! You Lost Your Best Gear? Why'd You Take it in there then? Dont Want To Loose It, Dont Risk It!
Thirdly, Scamming. Got Scammed? Bet Next Time You Wont Fall for it! Be Aware of What Is Happening if Anyone is Doing Something That Is Agaisnt The Rules, It Is Most Likely A Scam. Hit Report, Add to Ignore, Problem Solved.
All those That Are Against this, How Does bringing back to wild affect you if a random person Loses There oh so precious Full Rune. Or That Someone Had Been Scammed Into buying an Item Which Is Priceless.Botters Gunna Bot. If Its Not Happening to You Why Worry About it, you Have Nothing to Learn! There Stupid Enough, there problem!
When This Update Does Occur, If Your Agaisnt it, Try To Decline that Trade When Your Friend offers You A Free Item Over Trade, bet You won't.

Jagex brings wildy and free trade back, 40,000+ people will come back. The wilderness will be full with clans just waiting to kill people. It will be hard for RWT to happen when there tons of people in the wildy, itching to kill someone.
Another thing is, there is the REPORT button which is very useful if you haven't heard of it yet (i'm assuming so). If someone sees a lv 3 guy walk in the wilderness and have some guy kill it, that person can hit the REPORT button and those players will be SCREWED.
Also, don't you think the RWT players would have gone to another game by now or something??
Last thing, you go to a game like World of Warcraft, there is free trading there and no problems at all. If runescape gets 40,000 players back to being members, don't you think Jagex could use that money come up with ways to get rid of the problem??
