I have been here for quite a few years now and I have seen or heard many bad things about scams and about wildly attacks. People tend to like to keep people from doing things in the wild such as mining, rcing, treasure trials, penguin hunting (which I hope you take out of the wild if/when you bring it back). When I was a bit of a lower level... I was pked by two people while doing clue scroll; I saw them both standing there waiting... so I killed Zamorak and ran, not digging up the clue, I ran she caught up to me, I poisoned her and nearly got away but he ranged me, I dropped at level 22. They got nothing but still I didnt get the clue and wouldnt go to dig up clue in wild after that for awhile; I would just drop the clue, what a waste. I am pretty much a loner when I play, its hard enough to need people for things let alone not be able to do things myself. There are two issues here, bringing back wild and bringing back free trade. Why are we voting on two issues at once and not each one separately? I prefer to keep it the way it is now but you will get more votes saying yes because you added the free trade into the vote. Some of the people who want free trade dont really want the wild. I am but one of many so I realize it is really irrelevant what I think. I voted the other day said 7% voted no... my son voted today..it said 7% voted no. It hasnt moved. Hmmm looks like its all coming back, get ready for it RuneScapers.

i can honestly say that if these changes take place then i won't be a customer any longer. the game is fine the way it is now. as it has been said in other posts bots and scammers will return in overwhelming numbers, RWTing will return and be the main way a huge chunk of players make their money, and certain quests/activities will be just ruined. i will admit i was one of the people in 07 that really missed the old trade system but i've gotten use to it. if these changes are made then it will be like all your hard work in battleing bots and RWTing was for nothing AND kind of actually admitting defeat.
AND not to mention back in 2007 and before i would also get advertisements in my direct message box in other forums i frequent about sites like gprunescape and others. i seriously dont want to have that kind of spam again.
so yeah you may get alot of the old players from 2007 back but you'll probably lose just as many new players if not more once they realize what these changes will cause.

sorry, double post.
Edit: Jimmy the rev
What money making methods are you talking about? The ones that have thrown our economy to **** since the removal?
And no, Jagex's battle against RWTers and botters has now gone to the point where they are making the game less and less enjoyable for the people who don't bot and RWT to play.
Jagex have realised this and that 90% of its players would like to actually have fun while they play.

You say that you're going to quit the game if the updates take place, yet most of the people who don't want the update have been here since before December 2007. If so, you've dealt with the wilderness and free-trade in the past. You didn't quit then, so stop whining about how you're going to quit now.
As for the people who are complaining and HAVEN'T been here before December 2007, you haven't tried the wilderness/free-trade, so why judge it before you've even tried it? Why do you think over 60,000 people cancelled their memberships from December '07 to January '08?
