I would like someone to explain to me how there could be 1.4 million votes in 24 hours on a referendum to get the old wilderness and free trade back, but when the "real" vote, with yes/no/i_dont_care came about, there are now less than 600k votes after more than a week. Could it be that the original referendum was "stacked" by a few hundred pkers creating hundreds of phoney names to "stuff the ballot box"?
And now that you have to log into an ACTUAL ACCOUNT and use a pass*word, why are there less than 1/2 of the original votes?

WHAT HAPPEND TO THE 1.4 million pkers who "voted" in the first round. WHY HAVEN'T THEY VOTED IN THE SECOND? COULD IT BE THEY NEVER EXISTED????????????????

or maybe it's because after they logged in to vote they saw that the vote was 90% in favor and chose not to waste their time logging into every account they had because it's obvious what the people who play runescape actually want... btw cute hat. psych

For the people who keep getting saying its the persons fault for being scammed thats a lie. I was scammed once they take down and put up an item that looks similar in notes so fast you didn't notice it was gone. Another one messed with something that said I was buying rune weapons and when it got in my inventory it was all iron. it said rune on final page of trade.

The original vote was obviously stacked.
But guess what? 600k votes into the real vote, and 90% want free trade. That's a large, large number.
Free trade limiting was a failed attempt to stop real world trade. It hindered legit players, and slightly slowed down real world trade.
It was a failure. Time to call it that, and reverse back to free trade.
The wilderness was changed to further circumvent the obvious "no free trading". This new wilderness is just an abomination, and a poor reconfiguration.
PKing isn't fun anymore.
As for "innocent" people being scammed via old wildy...oh dear. When I was 9 (when i started playing, surprisingly. 9 years ago) I was stupid, but I never fell for obvious scams like wildy scams. The wilderness was quite clear how dangerous it is.

In closing, i'm hoping that, just because the number of votes wasn't the same, that the percentage and still large amount of votes speaks for itself.
Most people want free trade back. Those who don't have foolish, or useless reasons.

You are *tupid and this never happened. Programing is programing, rune is rune not iron, check the ******* final trade screen you idiot.

My concern is that free trade will bring back the botters and the RWT. I remember trying to train woodcutting and having to comepete with hunderds of players for a single willow tree. I don't mind the wild becuase I never botherd to venture out there, and they are moving all quests and mini games out if the wild comes back.
