RWT and botting is still a problem in the current version of Runescape. You think that Jagex doesn't know that? You think they haven't painstakingly gone over every possible outcome of bringing back the free trade and wildy? Get real kid. They know that RWT and botting will come back in force, however their bot detecting systems have been greatly upgraded to the point where it is extremely difficult to bot and not get caught. And as for you quitting, go ahead. You and the other 3% who voted no go ahead and quit. I'm sure Jagex won't miss you after the hundreds of thousands of players who quit because they took out the free trade and wildy come back. For everyone of you who quit, there are at least 2 to take your place.

HAHA
Totally agree with the two comments above me (magical and flyaway).
Put slightly more bluntly than I would have but still gets the message across!
At least there are still some people out there that know how to actually use their heads.

wow people panic to much...RWT can only be monitered and stopped as much as possible but as with all illegal matters theres only so much that can be done..as long as theres a profit in it for the people they'll risk it just like with any real world issue people will do almost anything if theres a big profit in it for them...jajex do there best to stop it as much as they can...the point is theres been a very popular demand for the return of the wildy and free trade..go on the polls theres a very clear message that the majority want it brought back and thats a message coming from there customers ..and theres probly going to be a cry of outrage from the small minority who dont want it back..i.e the merch clans who price manipulate the GE..they cant please everyone as people have there own agenda and people want what they want.. personally im in favour of it..gives the regular players who dont bother with merch clan scams the power to choose not to pay outrageous prices for various items just because thats the item they chose to hoard that month we can say no and go else where for it..and the wildy..well id be glad to see that back..stick it to all the cannon nubs who hoard the green dragons be a good laugh to see them scramble when the wildy clans come along and hopefully people who get green drags as a slayer task will actually be able to do it instead of having to contend with 3-4 cannons shooting everywhere...anyway jajex..good job (Y) keep it up

On 10 December 2007, Jagex created a Development Diary to explain what they've done with Real-World Trading. They found nearly every way possible to keep it from happening, including removing unbalanced trading, making a limit on how much people can stake in the Duel Arena, changing the way dropped items act, modifying the Party room and getting rid of player killing in the Wilderness, which was a favourite activity of some players. Jagex also stated that the Wilderness change was not only due to real world trading, but also because of their own decision to change the PvP aspect of the entire game.
What ultimately proved to be the final breaking point for Jagex was when several of the banks that provided the credit card processing services for Jagex started to charge a much higher processing fee due to the excessive number of charge-backs that were happening compared to other internet-based companies. It should be noted that Jagex wasn't necessarily singled out individually, as nearly all on-line gaming companies have had to address this issue to one extent or another. In addition, these banks threatened to completely cut off these financial services, report Jagex to various credit bureaus as a fraudulent enterprise, and issued an ultimatum that Jagex had to get the RWT issue under control. Quite literally, the very existence of Jagex as a company was threatened and had anti-RWT policies and game changes not been enacted, RuneScape as a game would no longer exist either.
It shall happen all over again :P
By the way, player hate me all you'd like but the facts are facts and they are true end of subject/story.
Thanks Killer123873

That's funny, this account just hit it's 10 year birthday as well, and as for the experience I've gained throughout the marvelous gameplay which is that of Rune Scape, these decisions of course, are rational to an extremity.
We as the players must coordinate and respond well to the imminent changes that are on approach, because these are the changes that will revolutionize both the minds of those who run the game as well as the players who play the game.
Acceptance will soon follow after these updates are set into place, just as the acceptance that was allowed to be attained during the very first acquaintance which was actually not voted for in the first place.
There are many a methods to be explored to prevent such deceptional disastrous choices that only a fraction of the population has in their mindset.
I for one do agree upon the most popular past times of the games own history. As I recall, just before the decision was made to take these realities away, there over 500,000 players enjoying the little things ingame. After the sudden drop of both formalities the count was definitely very outstanding as it dropped to a mere 125,000 players! :O !!
Why did that happen? Now let's think for a second and wander over the big picture that's set before our eyes and notice the obviousness that was immediately in effect during those disruptive times.
I will not answer this for you, for this would be a riddle only the "worthy" can configure for themselves.

I congratulate you Jagex upon your impervious patience and tolerance towards the players of the very game you could have closed down at any time, just as you without warning, took away the two.
Things said towards the hard working people must be respectful, they are here to make things as best as they can be for the people of the community now known as Rune Scape.
You will all love these "changes" and you will respect them, please keep the negatives to yourselves and only accept the upcoming realities, trust me.
