Well they are not 100% because they want to know if a majority of players want this update back. They probbably only have the poll BECAUSE it is a big thing, just like you said. It's almost like a Behind the Scenes, preparing your for an update that most likely will come. Feeling Nostalgic?

@Piki well that is the whole point of the poll.. to see what they should do, but it's implied that they DONT MIND doing it. They develop the game for the players, and they make sure the players are happy. this is a big update so they wanted everyone to vote first. are they gonna cancel the big announcement because 7% said no? of course not. Majority wins and this update is definitely happening. a tweak here and there sounds reasonable but they wont fail at making THE MAJORITY happy.

Aw Mah GAWD!!! Stop crying about it. I realized most of the people that are whining over this and don't want the old wilderness back and free trade (which most of them didnt even play when this was in effect) are Role Players. They probably have never PKed in their life. It bugs me how they try so hard to find excuses against the Old Wilderness and Free Trade.
For example, I copied this from an actual reply, and it says this "Welcome back RWT'ing, scamming, luring, etc...."
Ok, I can honestly tell this guy doesn't play Runescape as much, let alone PVP. I can also tell he's not so bright become some of these things still happen, and probably in front of his nose and even as he plays.
The New PVP system and Limit Trade didn't stop RWT, Luring, botting, ect. People still RWT, how? Easy, they sell their account, which most of them did when they took out the old wildy. Luring still happens, how? Just go to any PVP world and go to Fally or North of GE tunnel. As for Scamming, it still happens. How many people have been tricked into a Trio and not getting your 76k trick? I can admit that I have, and it sucks. In fact, I think more people scam now than what they used to since it's almost painful to make cash. As for botting, it still happens. You want to know an interesting fact? Botting leads to RWT. People bot their account to get them maxed out and sell them with like 400mil in their bank.
So please, the next time all you non-PVPers have the urge to make a post just for the hell of it, because you're mad. Do yourself a favor, and us a favor by saving yourself and us some time and DO NOT post anything at all. Because you are touching a subject you know nothing about, and hands down I will beat every argument you can possibly think of.
