i liked the ge way more. it was more conveinient to go to 1 place for almost everything. if it does get taken away, i bet the clans will b very very interdependant on its members with high skills for high level materials/items. sort of like everyone in the clan givingone person a high level thing they make, because the other person can't mak it themselfes*
***. a meelee person would go get d hide for crafter 2 make iinto armour for the ranger 2 use.

I Was and Am a dedicated RS Player and never have i even seen so much conflict like this.I gave up on RS almost in 07 and somehow i still play it.I see endless arguments in this discussion with no true solution.Here Are Some of My Solutions that can fix RS to its glory days and still be profitable for JAGEX and Safe for players.Thats what games were made for.FUN SAFE 4 Players and Money Making for Companies.
For Free Trade
1)I Suggest That Free Trade only be allowed in certain areas and have truthful dedicated moderators patrol for scams and hacks.
2)Accounts May Never Trade Unless they are registered to a human user via the Email Registration that is displayed every time you sign in.
3)Keep that bar at the bottom and warn players if a trade is unfair,place the trade bar in tutorial for players to see 1st hand
4)If an Item is Suddenly Removed the ability to accept the trade is removed for 10 seconds and a warning is displayed
For Wild
Make Pking Exciting,One Of my ideas was a Mercenary System
Ex: Kill 5 Enemies in a row with levels 5+ or 5- then yours and you receive 300k
Its and idea but i see problems with it such as contract boosting
1)Such as Free trade you must have a registered Email Address
2)Keep the Safety Zone the farther in the wilderness you go the more dangerous simple as that
3)Make a Wild Potion that Completley protects you for a certain amount of time.This potion becomes void should you begin combat or part take in it
4)Desert Like effect to prevent camping killers

I am happy to say that I am voting for the Wilderness and Free Trade to come back. I can't stand playing the game now. I was a member for about 4 months after the changes were made and it was as boring as hell. I've been playing this game since early 2003 and since then, I've been scammed so many times and probably lost all my money everytime; And as for the wilderness, I lost 3 million in there once from pking. But you know what? It taught me to be careful when playing Runescape, and it made the game so much more fun to take chances. Sure it may be harder for these newer players to do clue scrolls in the Wild, but you'll get used to the wilderness quick and easy as long you know how to play it. Be smart that's all I got to say to the new people. That thing that really made me quit in the end though, was the price drop on all the items pretty much. Like the rune body armor going from about 70k to like 50k...That was what ticked me off the most. I understand that not everyone agrees with what I said, but I'm expressing an opinion that could help someone make their decision on voting one way or the other. Happy Voting People!

That's not a bad idea, the only problem I can see is it could get annoying for experience players who know how to avoid scams. I'm thinking they could make it like the various other warnings, and allow us to turn off the timer on the accept button when we want. That way, if someone gets scammed via trade, it really is their own fault.

There are the people saying that they don't think that this is a good idea but there are people telling us that we should not vote.We have the right to think for ourselves. And to those people me and about 1.3M other people think that it is a good idea and trust me, it isn't going to turn out that bad. It will turn out a lot better
I like the idea of the old wilderness because if you killed someone with something like saradomin or a dragon scimitar you could actually get that particular item from the drop. It makes the wilderness more exciting and over all if the wildy is in every world it makes it more dangerous and without danger it is not that much fun

I worry about the things in the wilderness being relocated. Jennica's family and local village, Beacon Network, Clan Wars, etc. I may have a few solutions to a few of the problems.
Summer Quest Series: A possible portal to the farm house and village. Make the farms a safe place.
Beacon Network: Move the Varrock area beacons out of the wild. The Trollhiem mountain ones can stretch together over the mountain wall.
Clan Wars Make an open space in the "Unknown Lands" for it. Make some where in like a "nowhere" place. Like Piscatoris Hunter area or maybe down by Oogloog.

@Wellirule22: The freetrade areas are good too.

Sorry i'll go into detail. I believe as do i, that Jagex still likes the idea of: one person sells something and on a different world another person buys that same item.
This will keep the ease of buying/selling on the GE but when the changes are made the only difference will be that you can buy/sell for whatever price you want.
I hope this helps it's hard for me to put it into words for some reason.

Just know that they aren't going to completely mess up the GE and it will still be as easy as ever to buy or sell something with it.

Yes! Thanks. :) And that's what i was saying before... I really hope they take the time to do something good with the Grand Exchange. :) But you explained it perfectly. ^_^ I tryed to repeat what you typed but errr, i forgot it allready, to hard to expain for me!
