Old wild really sucked. Honestly, I don't want to go into the wild and have a bunch of pkers riding on my ass to kill me.

Free trade. I don't want to be spending 5 hours on trying to get someone to buy my goods on the streets. "They are not getting rid of grand exchange" HaHa will anyone even care about to G.E. when they could try to get items for a cheaper price/sell items for more expensive on the streets? Thus trying to buy/sell something in the G.E. will be almost impossible.

So all this update does is get rid of a huge area of runescape for me and create an annoyance

Oh yeah "bringing the community together with free trade" I love runescape but the people on it aren't very friendly...

I have a HUGE HUGE HUGE list of Pros and Cons for this, But the forums would ban me for spamposting.

Anyways, I think the Pros and Cons come out almost even. So, need to break some windows to repair the house, am I right?

I know that everybody in some way is worried about scammming but i believe that these people are overlooking some things about free trade. Generosity was a huge part of free trade as well one of my fondest memories on rs was my best friend giving me a barrows set for my birthday im confident that all problems have an equal solution. some of these people are letting an experience of being scammed hold them back from understanding what the best solution for everyone truly is some of this is just people being so naive another is people afraid of change in general we adapted to this setup of rs and im sure that these people could adjust to how we used to play as well
change will come whatever you do change with it of your own free will or let it change you by force you will get over it

Free trade wil make people rich w/o earning their own cash. i spend weeks to save up to buy the good armour/weapon such as bandos and claws/dfs. i will have no more desire or motivation to make money anymore if i can just get those things for free.
so i hope free trade will not come back.

Yes, wildy and free trade should be back, BUT:
About the wildernes: You guys should create some worlds with old wildy AND some worlds with the normal wildy for the ppl that want to do quests and clue scrolls in wilderness without being attacked by playes.
And abou the free trade: Bring it on!!!

I want to clear something up for everyone coming straight from a rev hunter:
First if your reason for bringing the wildy back is that you want the revs to go away, i have a message for you: GO HOME NOOB!
Because honestly if Jagex relocates the revenants then the wilderness will be a SAFER place. After taking the wildy away, putting revs in it was the first right thing Jagex did back then.
I love hunting rev knights and orks and i do it for the challenge and i'm not even that high cb. I know there are few amoung us who would miss them if/when they leave.
So as a response to some of these noobs that have been posting lately: You honestly think the wildy will be harder once the "overrated spells", tele-blocks, can't-run-away-because-i've-been-frozen-again, self-healing, poisoning revs are gone??

You're crazy kids...

Face it, You'd have to be completely pro to match a rev your cb lvl (with the exception of pures ofc).

There are some exceptions to this, like in the multicombat areas where players could team up and own. Or i suppose in the deepest wildy you could get KOed... These could be dangerous places when the old wildy comes back.
But not if you're smart...
Overall, when the old wildy comes back it will be as dangerous as we make it which is why i want it to happen!

But for most cases that will also mean safer.

I am archkonas and due to the resent arguments about the wilderness and freetrade i realise Just how ristricted runescape is i had a vission freinds a vison OF a FREESCAPE we what the players say Goes Were our Opinion Matters Were we as a comunity are the ones who decide How the runescape changes if you agree FreeScape is a wonderfull thought Pleas look up FreeScape in the forum Search And become a Freescape Cult member today

If you don't want old wildy because people will try to pk you...buck up. As for spending hours selling on street, don't overprice and it won't take long, or use GE. If you don't like GE because people will buy cheaper on street...sell cheaper on GE?

Umm, how does free trade make people rich? If you go give someone 100m, I suppose that's true, but...don't do that? Yes friends will give friends stuff, but so what? They probably won't be givin em phats.

Seriously, people need to stop complaining about wildy making clues or whatever harder. Clues were originally designed to be on old wildy to be dangerous. Just like every other thing in Runescape, there is a risk to balance out with the reward. I did many many clues with old wild, and did just fine. Play smart and you'll be perfectly fine. Besdies, half the pkers out there, unlike revs, won't bother wasting time on you.
