First off, please don't type in caps as it's rather annoying to read. Second, how would bringing back the old wilderness "ruin" Runescape? Have you ever actually experienced the old wilderness? If not, how could you possibly justify saying that?

I played Pk Wilderness, stop makign assumptions... I HATED PKING! I STILL DO! It's pointless. I will never pk as long as I play RS. I am totally against Old Wilderness, and I don't understand why Jagex wants to being it back. RuneScape is working great with PvP and Bounty Worlds. Sure some say that the drops are not the same, why don't they just update the Bounty World drops?
EDIT: Typing in caps just seems to stand out more and it gets the message across better. It just expresses how I feel about the Pk Wilderness

- RWT, scamming, botting, and the works still go on today. TO be quite honest, I would rather have all this nonsense with free trade and wild. It's not like it will ever be stopped, I mean of course they can try to subdue it but players will always find away around it. So i believe they SHOULD bring it back, I've been playing since 2001 and I must say that every year runescape has existed after 2007 has a boring and stupid.
EDIT: If you have even slightly red our lovely mod's first post, he states that there was "warts" in the old runescape but yet he still plans to go through with it due to the fact that botting will be in either forms of runescape. So bring back the more enjoyable freelance version.

@Sensational:
-IT doesn't matter what you see as "good" or "bad" in the wildly because you HATE it and have NEVER done it so therefore you ability to discuss the matter is nill. I am not a huge fan of pking either but let me tell you one thing: The old pking has way more enjoyability then what it is now. Now you can do a 75k trick, get tons of money etc etc. Back in the day, you had to earn a kill and the money along with it. I've been here since 2001 and I must say runescape will be better with the rollback.

Being a player of RunesScape for several years, I understand the "ups" and "downs" of Free Trade and PVP in the Wilderness. Of course it is not the same with so many new features added to RuneScape. I have to admit, I was pretty bummed when PVP was removed from the wilderness. I am still part of that 7% that voted no. I have a few reasons for doing so. When Runescape had PVP in every world that was really the only thing a majority of people did. I believe that removing Player Versus Player from in the Wilderness in every world has allowed me and several others to find out what RuneScape is all about, instead of just "gearing-up" to fight other players all the time. If that is what you like to do, then that is what the PVP worlds are for. There would be many flaws To having PVP in the wilderness, such as, hit-and-running, teleporting while fighting, and getting the lower level players to trust you so you can take them deep into the Wilderness to kill them and take their things. I am not saying that I have not done any of these things before, but if you compare the wilderness now to a few years ago, it is much better. I also enjoy "rev'-hunting" it allows me to test my skills an a worthy oppenent within close range of my level. I think asking people to vote on it is unfair because the idea of PVP in the Wilderness for most is completely biased in most cases. As for free trade, I think we can do without. With more vivid images than RuneScape had in 2006/07 and, the verifying that is needed afterward, scamming has been made almost impossible through trade. As for limited trade amounts, I also opposed it at first, but then in time became comfortable with the reasonable price ranging and limits that were put in place. There are time that I wish there were no limit so I am can give the newer players more free things. In time, I have come to realize that teaching them to acquire these "needed" items themselves will help them better in the long run. Thank you for reading.

If you don't pk, why the hell do you even care about this update then? How will this affect you at all? If anything, this should be better for you because it will allow you to get free items from your Runescape friends and such.

As a former member I absolutely LOVED the free trade.. When it was taken away my friends and I were absolutely devastated. I continued playing for a few months but all the fun had left; it just wasn't the same. I quit for years, but when my friend told me about this my face lit up with joy. The old Runescape may be coming back and I can't wait! I'll certainly subscribe again if it's all coming back. Fixing what was ruined in 2007 will definitely be the greatest thing you guys have done in a LONG time.
Also, to all of you newer players that never experienced it but feel the need to rage over it... It was great, genuine fun back in the day. If you never experienced it you can't talk about it like that. Be excited, it would be amazing :)
EDIT: Also... If you don't like the old wilderness don't go there... Be like I did and completely avoid it. Don't make that the reason to not vote for this awesome update
