Being a player of RunesScape for several years, I understand the "ups" and "downs" of Free Trade and PVP in the Wilderness. Of course it is not the same with so many new features added to RuneScape. I have to admit, I was pretty bummed when PVP was removed from the wilderness. I am still part of that 7% that voted no. I have a few reasons for doing so. When Runescape had PVP in every world that was really the only thing a majority of people did. I believe that removing Player Versus Player from in the Wilderness in every world has allowed me and several others to find out what RuneScape is all about, instead of just "gearing-up" to fight other players all the time. If that is what you like to do, then that is what the PVP worlds are for. There would be many flaws To having PVP in the wilderness, such as, hit-and-running, teleporting while fighting, and getting the lower level players to trust you so you can take them deep into the Wilderness to kill them and take their things. I am not saying that I have not done any of these things before, but if you compare the wilderness now to a few years ago, it is much better. I also enjoy "rev'-hunting" it allows me to test my skills an a worthy oppenent within close range of my level. I think asking people to vote on it is unfair because the idea of PVP in the Wilderness for most is completely biased in most cases. As for free trade, I think we can do without. With more vivid images than RuneScape had in 2006/07 and, the verifying that is needed afterward, scamming has been made almost impossible through trade. As for limited trade amounts, I also opposed it at first, but then in time became comfortable with the reasonable price ranging and limits that were put in place. There are time that I wish there were no limit so I am can give the newer players more free things. In time, I have come to realize that teaching them to acquire these "needed" items themselves will help them better in the long run. Thank you for reading.
