For all those worried about RWT and Bots, and scams.
RWT- These people do not have the heart and soul of a true runescape player, if you see a level three with a party hat its obvious. Even if they have more money than you, you should feel accomplished for what you have done.
Bots- For those who haven't noticed bots are still in mass, the people who create these bots change their bots constantly making it very difficult for jagex to keep up. No matter what it is going to be an ongoing problem. Again these are people with no true feelings for RuneScape.
Scams- The trade windows have been changed. All you have to do is look at the flashing red markers and pay attention to what the trade consists of on both trade screens. People will attempt it but its up to the players to avoid being scammed and if scammed report them for scamming via the report abuse index at the bottom of your screen. Scammers do get punished.
My opinion- Pre 2007 era of RuneScape was quite a wonderful place, wilderness was actually dangerous because of other people not just monsters. It was quite a feeling when youd kill someone in the wilderness to acquire their items. Usually they were rather intense battles. As for free trade, every christmas i used to give a couple of my buddies money and we would do things on RuneScape together. It was a very enjoyable time. As for the Grand Exchange, i do believe that it should continue to run, but with no limits and no grand exchange price as midprice. Therefore when working on multiple skills you can sell things for more than you bought them for and make money while gaining skills. With the midprice people always want to buy less than it, and you end up losing money.
