i understand the against argument, I truly do, but when free trading and wilderness went the free will of this game went along with it.

i say this is the best decision you have ever made baring in mind this is my current liking of the updates

pro- summoning
pro- runescape classic-runescape2 transformation
pro-graphical tweaks
pro-display name change(p2p)
con-pvp worlds
con-DUNGEONEERING
con-conquest or should I call it tactics arena online?
con-tasks, it totally moved my levels tab and it should be burnt
con-personalised shop update
con-basically every single update after personalised shop :D
so i say yes to the old returning back when we could give gifts to friends without rules and where the wilderness has some genuine fright to it, i mean come on renevents are stupid they may hit hard but they can be outrun easily

I personally think that if you used all the tools to make your account as safe as possible, and not share your account with anyone, the hacking wouldn't be as much of a problem. I'm quite excited for free trade, opens oppertunity's for players to use their merchanting skills to make money.
AS for the old wilderness coming back, i am pleased with that as well. It will definately be great pvp, better then anything currently in-game in my mind. Players running around trying to kill you might ebe annoying sometimes, but it's all part of the fun.

okay this go's to everyone that speaks about hacking.
the runescape community have been trying to make it much easier to get back your account as fast and i think know they lock the account until they can give the account to the rightful owner so if you really think about jagex has been planning on this for a very long time they catch plenty of ppl every day. they have the email thing know (the smartest thing they have ever done to get back your account) because to make an email takes 5secs and is free and simple so the noobiest ppl that get scammed and are very trusty should hopefully know how to go to yahoo and click sign up....

Can some "old" wilderness lovers please help me out with understanding your complaints? I'm personally not all that into PvP so I'm afraid I just plain don't get it.
As I understand it, the new wilderness sucks because people can't PvP anymore. But Jagex has provided tons of content that allows CONSENTING individuals and groups to have at each other.
I pretty much only go into the wildy because I'm forced to by a quest, clue scroll, penguins, etc. And although I'm not a huge fan of revenants, I absolutely despised having to dodge groups of player killers who hang around areas just waiting to gang up on somebody who is not there to fight.
So am I missing something here? Is there more to it than people miss being able to pick on others?
If it's about the drops, then surely the staking rules could be changed to allow a greater risk/reward for those who WANT to do this?
I'm genuinely interesting in hearing from people about this, so please help me to understand what this is about for those of you who feel strongly about it.

you know how jagex should fix this provide and make a new city will all the things needed members content only? good idea huh? ik some will say *hats hard but truely its not that hard i tried making a game using jagex was boring and toke to long but jagex has thousands helping so should be a cupcake. but it would be nice to have wildy back and a new huge city(ies) would'nt you think?

i miss free trade. i was not ever scammed and i just ignored the bots. my sister and i started to play together giving one another this and that to help each other out (not lend...give). now she's not going to play anymore and i feel it is partly due to being unable to play together the way we used to. Plus, she is quitting and she can't even give me the one (yes, just ONE) item i would want because it is over the trade limit.
i also found it to be rather exciting to have to make a mad dash through the wilderness to finish a clue scroll. i never brought anything that i was not willing to lose to a PKer. i have indeed outrun them. if you pay enough attention you will see them before they see you. that was the point of the wildy to me...'pay attention and stay alive'. it kept me on my toes and now its just like any other part of the RS world. i really did enjoy that extra 'oh my, i could die here and lose my stuff' aspect to it. it should be brought back.
i don't believe that the poll is rigged. why would anyone suggest such a thing?! Jagex is in charge here...if they really wanted to just change it, they would. why would they fake a poll just to do what they can do at any given time? They try to do what they feel is best even when they could just do what they want so please, give them a break..they did not rig a thing.
