@LT Coldfire You obviously haven't played other games, nothing gets the heart beating than the risk of losing all your items or gaining all your opponents items and almost no games have that ability. Also, about the beggars, who cares, turn public on friends, report them all for harassment, whatever man it isn't hard to get rid of them.

I sorta agree with XzarDragon on the first page of this thread. Taking wildy and free trade away then reintroducing it will be a messy business.
Jagex obviously loses many customers the first time when they fight to take this away and now will be losing more as some people have become used to way things are and will be unsatisfied.
I'm not against bringing free trade and the old wildy back, since there are so many great things to do in the old wilderness (I'm mainly thinking of roleplaying when i say this) and with free trade there will be many chances to make money off items without worrying about bothersome junk.
My one fear is the price manipulation clans. I like the idea of clans that control the market of an item WITHOUT the GE, but raising and crashing an item WITH the GE is just annoying.
I miss the old pre-GE days of RS when it took me a week standing outside the Varrock bank to buy some addy legs. Still i'm puzzled why they're doing this since i know the game has to mature.
It's like one step back in the right direction i guess.

@ Red Lep, I know what ya mean guv, I've fallen for way worse offeres than that though, ahaha :P
Once, a dude offered me a mill for my addy Pickaxe (hence the refrence). Stupid of me? Very. Shoulda thought that, perhaps the guy wearing full rune should have no problem getting his hands on one for a lower price, or let alone need one :P ^^
Never was scammed from there on, sho obviously I took somethin from it.

Still makes me laugh how dumb that was though, ahah :D
