Do I need to explain how real world trading works?
Item scamming and things like that are not the issue or concern. This was a problem originally, but Jagex fixed this for the most part with the flashing warnings once an item is removed or altered in a trade. If somebody gets "scammed" while free trading with the warnings these days, there is no excuse other than its there own fault.

I Think this is an good thing and I am sure we will make it and that the Wilderness and free trade will come back.
I like that wilderness is comming back but I whould still like PvP to remain and that you can loot statues , vesta , statius and have Ep in pvp worlds that whould be nice I think.
About the free trade i think its pretty good but prices will go down alot so i recommend everyone to sell there best items because i guess most prices are going to be lower and yea but i think its going to be hard to buy items for like Herblore or Firemaking or even Cooking , Con and levels like that but it could be good if jagex left upper and lower price limit in g.e but ppl maybe had other prices but enought with that i think this is going to be an good update and i will maybe even enjoy Runescape even more with it i started back in 2006 so i did not enjoy the wilderness and free trade before for real so my best memory is that i sold 100 Big bones for 100k......... well best wishes to every1 and w00t we hit 1m votes :D

I've been playing on and off since 2004. 2004-2007 I played consistently but after they made the changes I just can't seem to get back into it. The thing I loved about it for so long was you could become rich at any moment (or poor for that matter). Someone could die fighting dragons and you could pick up their stuff and become rich, you could die fighting dragons and become poor. Free trading made trading a lot better too I believe, because although the G.E. made items easier to obtain, free trading is a lot funner.
The wild is my life long love as well. No PvP on any game can come close to it in my opinion, you risk everything you have on you for everything they have. No other game offers anything like that, the adrenaline rush, the feel when you kill someone, the depression when you die and exit out because you're so mad, but then 10 minutes later you log back on, I love that. I miss hopping across worlds to find some lonely skiller to kill. I also miss killing pkers who were trying to kill skillers. The current PvP is much better than the bounty hunter craters, however nothing beats the old wild system. Full drops, every world. It's fun, and it's something no other MMO can offer. I'm an avid WoW player and I play it at a high level in PvP, however this update will definitely bring me back to playing runescape. As much as I love WoW (and believe me I do), regardless of graphics, difficulty or whatever factors you put into it, I'd take Runescape with the old wild and free trading> World of Warcraft any day.

real world trading doesn't affect me...I never really saw it, but I knew it happened. Why should I care if other people cheat? Like I said, it's not my problem. So what if someone wants to buy things with their real life money...it's their money to spend, like it's their money to buy memberships.
