~~~Continuing from earlier post***
I think when people look back at the old system they see many of the holes *hat were there years ago. Ex. drop trade, scamming, etc.
I think Jagex has stepped it up a notch and updated their tactics on things. Drop trading is against game rules as many know, but to be honest even in the real world, nothing illegal until your caught. So it will probably happen in some way shape or form (multiple browsers or wtv) on small scales.on the ject of scamming...im sorry I played as a younger player those years back and never got scammed, I always though about my trades before accepting them. For sure I probably got ripped of price-wise in a few situations but I learned to do research before making sales/wtv it was. This is just as you should do in real life, yes this is a game but it teaches you (or used to with free trade) about markets, deals and thinking for yourself. Which I think lacks from todays game.
RWT has always been in the game, it was there then and still is now (on a much smaller scale now), why you would pay real world money for items in a game is beyond me but ppl do it. Either way I again trust Jagex to deal with this.
My one fear about this update, is the return of bots. I remember being a low level and walking by a yew surrounded by bots.
At the time I thought to myself that when I reached the right Wc I would nver even be able to compete. They hoarded items, and either sold in bulk or traded to their mains. Basically ruining the game in a lot of aspects for us honest players. People say bots are fixed now they dont work, well Im sorry but when it comes to things like that when you patch something, it often doesnt take long to find a way around it to write new programs. I just have a feeling that the system will be abused, worse is some aspects this time, but I guess either way it will anyways.
Ill play either way, but ppl may be surprised at how the game will change, mixing an older system with the new style.
