@king rillah

the quests that they have added to the wilderness since the update in 2005 are almost all in the wilderness, not just a quick run somewhere. therefore making it a lot more dangerous having to do a whole quest in the wild.

I have been gone from Runescape for quite sometime now (probably close to 5 years now) however i started playing during the classic version. Runescape was for me one of those games that was extremely fun and interesting to play and always had something about it that would not allow me to leave (even now i log in every now and then to see whats new). I felt that one of the greatest past times of Runescape was the wilderness and that is what made it so much fun to play, and i can honestly say that with the return of the wilderness it is very likely that I will return to the Runescape world for more PK action.
As far as players being cheated or baited into the wilderness/scammed (speaking from experience here) I think these are learning experiences and while they are not the high points of the game do add to the gaming experience for the player (for the best in the long run).

Back when I made my first account, which I have LONG since forgotten the details to, sometime back in '05-'06. I made money off the wild, I would run in with nothing on in the way of armor or weapons. Rangers would be shooting arrows and a fight would carry on for awhile, occasionally it would be mithril or adamant arrows, sold 'em. Yep, thats how I made my money as a newbie, good times, good times.
I also miss the huge crowd that would build up in Varrock square. Made the game feel more alive. Sure one could just go to the G.E. and see a bunch of hustle and bustle but its so out of the way, the actual feel of a random bazaar ran by players seems a bit faded.
Old Wild, Free trade. Its a pretty win combo.

I know alot of people that are going to start playing again
if free trade and wilderness comes back, Even if more people get ripped off it doesnt really matter, ive been ripped off plenty of times :P i like it though it makes the trading more realistic, and for the wilderness, that used to be a really fun place

I really do have to ask why do we have to argue these losers on why the wilderness should be brought back we have already won, I mean 90% say yes and 7% say no.

WE WIN 90%
YOU LOSE 7%
GET OVER IT!!!!! :P
