There's still one thing that's been bugging me: What's going to happen to merching clans? Are they going to disappear or get even more powerful? And please, add a decent explanation to your answer.

For those ignorant people complaining about bots, and RWT. get over it, they will always find a way, idk if you have been to fishing spots lately. As for RWT as long as there is a way they will do it, they don't care.

They will still be around most probs, but a lot weaker. It will be harder to buy and manipulate prices when people arent as dependant on the GE. This is what i hope will happen anyway....
I don't see them running GE like they do at the moment anyway due to the fact there will be no max or minimum prices.. but they could still horde items to increase the street price i guess

Merch clans would die out as the don't have power of the econamy any mOre.

Honestly, if you were led into the wilderness and killed for promises of money or told to give away your account info because somebody else would help you train to get you an awesome item...its your fault.

What is wrong with Runescape now? * love it the way it is, everyone does otherwise they wouldn't play it. I think people are just voting yes because there BORED of playing runescape and they want a change. And guys? They was gonna bring it back anyway... They just did the Vote for backup incase no one liked it. So they can say "You voted for it back....."
But this poll really needs a good & fair reset, it really does. And if you say no it doesn't your actually saying that "Vote now" Means "Vote yes?" Uhhmmmmmm? o_O Yeah.

Well that's it. I went from a complete no to a total yes. So every1 who voted yes can be happy as you have just persuaded me that this update indeed is gonna bring us rainbows, flowers and hapiness!

Merching clans could try to set the prices of items people sell, go around and buy items for the minimum and see how much someone is willing to buy maximum and use that for a standard. People would catch on if clans were to start doing that throughout all of runescape but I used to make money in free trade like that myself. People would sell laws between 500 and 1k. It was alot easier to Merchant items and not wait for the G.E. prices to fluctuate.
Does no one have faith in Jagex? (The people who dicline do to the fact of the problems from before) All you do is complain about problems. Have you ever asked what Jagex is going to do to help further eradicate the problems that is going on and prevent the problems from the past? In this post I for one have heard a few other people say have faith in Jagex. Jagex has fixed quite a number of issues over the years but I do not know for sure if bots have went down due to the fact everywhere you go there are bots in every world and in every area where it best benefits them to bot.
Is there a way to truly stop botting? Maybe Jagex can make it to where it can detect the bots by the loading screen and ban the bots I.P. I do know Jagex isn't just going to sit there and only change the wild and trade just to let some noob botters and scammers get away with the mass chaos they created last time. Give jagex time and see what happens. I am not asking anyone to love the old wild and free trade but everything deserves a second chance right?
The old school runescapers loved it back then except for the ones who fell for the scams which were actually quite easy to catch as well. "Come with me if you want free items" LOL Classic way people tried to scam me.
