1) What proof do you have to say that there will be more bots? Back in 2006 the methods for catching them were different to the methods developed since then by JaGeX and as such it is therefore wrong to assume simply that they are either incompetent or stupid - as they would not put the issue up for vote if they could not handle the problem. They've acknowledged like we already know now that botting will continue so long as the incentive exists, but they are continually combatting it. You are in no position to comment on bots because you don't have any inside information here and you're making blind hypothesis.
2) Items removed from the trade screen come up with a rather large exclamation mark, further more the second screen shows the item in written form, with another exclamation mark for any alterations made within the trade. The prices are relative to supply and demand, so of course these items will perhaps go up - but they are fair prices to pay as they are what someone is willing to pay. Grand Exchange is simply what we're told to pay and merchant clans have far too much control over prices as is widely known. Whilst people don't deserve to be cheated they do have a responsibility to look after ones own, thus I yet again dismiss your argument here.
3) The game was fine long before the wilderness was removed. The idea that it is now going to be catastrophic change to the way the game is shaped is absolutely absurd. Further to that, anyone complaining about the abyss should know fine well that it is there because of the wilderness - the idea being if you want the quick leveling you take the risks involved with the benefits.

4) People who PK take these risks according to their own preference. Further to that, with the return of the free trade there is also the return of staking - or so I would imagine. Thus if you're not prepared to lose what you take in, this is a healthy alternative. People are also bound by the level constraints of the wilderness - though I would assume (hopefully) that you know this.
5) The community before 2007 was quite pleasant actually. For you to make this kind of accusation is quite frankly fabrication. You have no grounds for which you can honestly defend this point.
The forums were busy with people buying and selling, community events were more popular than they are now and the forums were also a place where you could reliably seek help as they were far more frequently visited than post 2007.
Nobody is saying people deserve to be cheated - the point being made is that we can only babysit people so much without it being to the detriment of the wider community. At the moment this community that you speak of is a highly independent one, where people are far more accustomed to keeping themselves to themselves.
Anyone trying to bait you whilst skilling can easily be ignored - though it was not frequent pre-update.
6) The construction of all these different things is the difference here. Bounty worlds are rotten from a personal perspective. I tried one but they were confusing and the rewards did not match the effort made as far as I am concerned. The old wilderness was something simple that could be enjoyed by friends and the rewards were equally straight forward where you were able to take everything from the cold, lifeless corpse of your opponent.
Castle wars rewards are strictly limited and duel arena was changed by the update.
There are my counter-points FredUp and quite frankly I cannot see room for you to try and impose your view on me in response.

I am voting for wildy and duel arena
But what about trade limit? it would be not nice.
I remember old wildy and trade limit and yea no ge. It was so hard buying and selling everything but it used to more fun too cuz u had to pay attention
My opinion is
bring back wildy and duel arena. You can trade there i mean with old wildy rwt will come back thats for sure somehow but it is fine anyway...cuz jagex would have tons of old and new players earning some money on this game? Whats wrong with that? Game will be more popular and jagex gonan easr more money....i think thats what they are thinking about
but ge should stay. It would be easy to sell and buy anything..no wasting like 20-30 mins trying get to world 1-2 like it used to be. But got no idea what about trade limit better to do....

Restoring the Pvp aspect of this game, and the freedom to use your money the way you want > the threat of bots.
bots are not a good enough reason to keep this game from getting back it's combat driven community.
Anyone can level, that's why people made pures, do max out the combat potential for any given level and test themselves against others who had done the same. Providing a somewhat level combat scenario, where it was a matter of who could use their given resources to overcome their opponent.
You murdered this ^ so there would be less competition at yews. ( not just yews, but you get the point i hope.)

Hobart, really?
Nobody wore expensive stuff into old wild... Most expensive gear I've ever seen in old wild was Ahrims, and that was only to barrage ppl.
On the rare chance someone actually does wear good gear in the wild, they will most likely be followed by a clan...which means you are going to be lured...
The new pk system rewards risk and encourages everybody to risk. A person can not get a good drop unless they are carrying risk. That is not the case in the old wild, was it? How many times did we get harassed by no-riskers that were hoping at a lucky ko? Or were you one of those no-riskers?
The old wild was silly and Jagex has done a fine job of making it into something that encourages everybody to participate.
DO NOT CHANGE OUR PVP/BH+1 WORLDS
