I think Jagex should increase trade limits; keep P.V.P. Worlds but in pvp world they can change the loot system, you could have pvp/bh worlds that still have E.P. (earn-potential)
and still give D.P.(Drop Potential) but instead of it counting towards your over-all loot it could be just for the new bh/pvp loots items, so 70%e.p. with about 60k D.P. could make you get a ruby chalice etc and you automatically AUTOMATICALLY get all the items they have on them upon killing them (with exception to the +3(with no skull) and the +1 with Protect item prayer/curse)
for example i have 20%ep i just logged onto a pvp world and i am risking full rune, i killed some other guy in full rune but with a zammy kite, the loot will be his armour (rune armour w/ zammy kite) weapon and food where the E.P. and D.P. can count towards those ruby chalices, i think this is a great compromise. --rwt will stay under controll with higher trade limits but still with restrictions, and pvp will have the same apeal to it as it did back in 2007--
(all percentages are just examples)

Edit: @ rush, this update isnt about wilderness this update is for jagex to get back some of the players/members they lost when they removed the wilderness, the trade limits are great they could just be tweaked a little higher, i stand by my opinion about pvp and bh worlds, it is alot easier to find opponents when not searching through 120+ worlds and you dont know what the wilderness is or stands for if you dissagree with this compromise......

Stfu Rusher... Of cource there is gonna be a price peek in the economy... Just like what happened when GE was introduced... It will turn to a stable economy in a few days.. And I have a feeling the economy will be more stable.

As I feel that free trade between friends would be great, so I could give one a mil to help them out it will cause the previous problems to reemerge. Scamming will become a frequent event, and as for the GE I can see it becoming redundant,to players. I remember the times of when you'd have to stand all around Falador park shouting out demands of what you're buying and selling. When I said scamming is more than likely to come back it will, no doubts I have been scammed in the past, and it sucks. I can't really have any view of botting whether it will or not come back.
When it comes to wildy, luring will be inevitable but doesn't the gravestone system interrupt that? This is where I kind of see the problem with some people, those who lure you out, kill you, your gravestone pops up, you come back, get your stuff, they kill you and it continues again and again, what is the point? Personally I don't want the old wildy back, if it were restricted to say lvl 40+ wildy, I'd be fine with it, as many people do clues, D&D's,clues,Corp, and K*D.
No matter what though I know that it is going to be inevitable, that is unless Jagex drag this out until April then say "April Fools!" to everyone.

As for my thoughts for what they are worth: this could easily prove detrimental to the future of the game.
On the Grand Exchange:
The grand exchange has made great strides for training and game play over all! I remember a time before the exchange where you had to search all over the map; on various worlds, to find the objects you need in the quantity. If you remove the price min and max on this; it could ruin the GE. If this is the case; players could set prices to anything they want; and there is a low possibility that players could easily 'match' prices on the GE.
On the Return of Wilderness PKing:
This is not nearly as big of an issue for me. My thought on it though; is that it will create more general mistrust amongst the player. I remember a time where traversing the wild for clues, mages arena, act was impossible, or nearly, due to players that would kill on sight for no better reason that they could. Cannot say how many times I have been PKed; and not carried anything on me. They kill just for the annoyance of it. I think the pvp worlds are the best solution; if you want to PK, it should be a choice. Not forced on everyone.
On Trade limits:
I do not see an issue for raising the limits on this. The only issue is the scamming could be increased just as it was in times before the GE and the Trade Bans... this is my only issue and ramification on this matter.
Final Notes on Economy:
I also fear that removing the trade balance will return the issues of an unstable economy to those before the GE and Trade Bans. i remember a day where you could buy an item for say, 5m coins one night; go to bed. wake up the next morning and the object be worth 100k. Now granted this did work the other direction some times; but the game needs the regulation to prevent the booms and busts.
yet again; these are just my humble opinions on the Trade Referendum

Dear Runescape users
I know in the minority on here but i beg you to consider the following points before voting I believe wilderness and free trade will destroy the Runescape community because :-
1)There will be way more bots sure there’s bots now but they are on peoples main accounts which means if they get caught they lose there main account if you introduce free trade people with have a level 3 bot that gets a 99 skill and makes money then a level 3 bot that trains magic and range so they can go into wildly with it and the skiller bot will feed the mage with money so it can buy runes and if there detected the guy loses 2 bots.
I personally remember seeing level 3 bots everywhere before the current trade rules .
p.s some people supporting the changes have already said they support bots
2) People will get scammed you say it won’t happen as the g.e will list the current prices
But what happens when the g.e prices are wrong like a Dragon Dagger super now its listed as 35k but most people pay 50-60k with junk and as it can 2 hit kill when wilderness comes out it will probably go up so people will offer to sell them at crazy prices and it’s easy to swap a dragon dagger super with a dragon dagger before hitting tick
Also some people say people that get scammed deserve it as there stupid well I tell you now no one deserve to be cheated/ scammed and the people cheating/ scamming definitely don’t deserve to make money out of.
3) A lot is going to be moved like quests mini games / dungeons / activities this will totally change the runescape map and how the game is played.
see next post for 4-6

4) In 2007 there where not overload pots or the new ancient curse prayers and very few weapons could 2 hit kill someone (maybe the dds and granite maul) if you was fighting someone without 99 hps and got 2 lucky hits now there is a lot of weapons that can easily 2 hit kill people that have 99hps so it wont be a player killing world it will be sit here and wait for people to fight one another than rush them world.
5)The community itself will turn ugly people if you read my previous points a lot of players believe people deserve to be scammed do we really want a community that believes new players deserve to be cheated?
Plus if they get scammed they won’t trust people in the future.
Surely we want a fair community where people trust one another and don’t think everyone’s out to rip them off?
Also if someone’s just happily skilling your get people going oi Noob duel me oh my god your useless, you never played killed look everyone he’s afraid of me what a noob e.t.c hoping to drag people into wildly where there friend can jump them.
6)when wildly came out it was the only place to player kill before the duel arena was introduced now there is many more places you can player kill like the Bounty Hunter mini game, all the player killer worlds as well as the Bounty worlds there’s also a lot of safe games you can player kill in like castle wars so can you really say you don’t have enough opportunities to player kill now?
well there my points I bet I get told buy people that support wilderness
oi y2k10 you clearly never played in the old wildy omg you’re a moron , I couldn’t even read what you put it was so illegible
But if you actually took 5 minutes out of your time to read this I thank you and hope you can see where I am coming from

It really is funny seeing people making up %ages.
Anyway, Jagex, I really hope you don't count the "I don't mind" votes as yes votes (I don't even know why you included that option), even tough seeing the rest of the voting presentation it sure looks like you want to put it back no matter what.
Also I don't get why wildy AND free trade should come back.
Price limits at the grand exchange are... fine, and I can't think of runescape going back to prices as random as the ego of the players get. That being said I would appreciate unlimited trade with at least 1 or 2 players, personally I would like to help my brother out but just cant with the limit as it is, even with the "old relationship" bonus.
Wildy sure is a hot topic and I understand you wanting to attrack a certain kind of (unpleasant) people to the game but if you are going to put it back do it well or just don't.
This "referendum" just looks like a big joke and a hudge step backwards. I hope I am mistaken.
P.S.: "lol" at the "communism" comment two pages back, nice out of context joke.
