For those of you saying it will bring back the bots, realize that the bots are already here. For those of you worried about scammers that lure people, dont fall for stupid scams I mean honestly. This will bring back so many more players and bring in so much more money for Jagex. Im voting yes, and the many people I know will be voting yes with me.

This is ridiculous Jagex, first you remove free trade and PKing, completely ignore the comunities outcry and several protests by turing your back with a big fat "were not listening to you, just grit your teeth and get through it, heres some terrible minigames to make up for it", and now you have a complete turn around. Utterly Speechless.
And please, lets not pretend it's got anything to do with the community, some of us cant be flattered into overlooking the fact that this is only happening due to runescape's increased popularity after winning the golden joystick awards ect.
This really makes me wonder, where would runescape be now if you'd just left the system alone in the first place? I'm all for it being reverted to what it was PROVIDED that Jagex has the means to stop the bots, and i'm talking ten times better that what it used to be - if we're going to be having fifty thousand bots to a F2P yew tree again then please, just leave it.
Scammers shouldnt be a problem provided the right information and advice is given out by jagex - the messsage of the day on the lobby screen is a scammers worst enemy.

Hope there's no catch and everything will get back as it was. Lots of people who played this game from my country will start over. Good old times, can't wait - didn't played for 2 years, but with these news I'm checking the site everyday :D
(Those who attend to prove that bots, cheaters will move into the game after update: There are always cheaters, from the begging, till now, and it will continue. So don't try to ruin the fun for other players, rather go searching for players who are botting and report them)

hi im playing runescape for over 4,5 years and i think there were more players when wildy was here and no trade limit , it was more fun to. u lose what u have if u skulled now u need a high carried wealth or u get junk as drop. for the ppl who got scammed thats bad but just pay some more attention then they cant scam you . 90% voted yes , i think that says enough.u get like 200.000 or more extra players if u bring it back. but ok thats what i think.

I got bored of RS2 shortly after our freedom (free trades) was taken away. Back then it was either combat RWT, or watch runescape burn out - So I can't complain, Jagex done the right thing at the right time. :)
I heard from a R-L friend that also plays RS that it was being brought back, However I didn't believe her - So I checked your homepage. There it was! An announcement for players to vote it back!
I have played rs (I am 121 combat on rsc) for almost 10 years next year - I'm only 55 combat on RS2 (Although I still have tradable holiday items :) )
Hopefully with the return of free trades and (to me) freedom, I will enjoy this game like I once use to :)
I'm sure there are others that feel the same as I do, LONG LIVE RUNESCAPE! :)

Alot of genuine honest players quit after the Wildy was removed, and free trading. Including all of my friends. I don't understand the QQ about bots, they are still there... as for those saying "No don't bring back free trading, gold sellers will return, people will get scammed, I was scammed many times" So you people can't learn from being scammed? for me when I was scammed I thought "Oh, I think I'll avoid that again". Jagex had techniques to stop gold sellers before free trading was removed, free trading was just a much more drastic technique of getting rid of them, which I do believe gold sellers still exist in RS since I've seen a Facebook ad "Buy RS Gold". Players should take the warnings they are given about scammers, the warnings were there, on the site, in game, everywhere. It's your choice to read them and actually take the advice onboard.

i vote for it to be reimplemented,like this shouldn't have been taken out in the first place, botters and real world traders still got through so why your time implementing trash and aggravating players enough to quit
