Ok heres what I think should happen. Some of you may agree with me some may not. I would make different world and maybe call them "pk worlds". You could go around the entire world instead of like bounty worlds to where you were limited to edgeville or the ge. I think this would be a good decision because lower leveled players can venture through the Wilderness on different worlds****'ers can go to the Wilderness on the special pk worlds.
I think free trade would be a great idea. I do recognize that new player may be scammed but that is not Jagex's fault. I think if the player is a bit of a "newb" then they should research specific items on the grand exchange. They would become more knowledgable about how much items are going for. If Jagex put a label at the bottom of the trade box that told how much wealth was being traded off that would be helpful to "newbs" too.
Overall I think the decision to bring back Wildy and free trade is a good idea. If this decision passes I would definetly try it out. Who knows maybe after the first few weeks the new would wear off and there wouldn't be that many people there. I can't say too much about what it was like back then being I only began playing a year ago lol.

I think it will. Why do you think it won't return?
If you return conditions to the same as before, making everything in every world solvable by a trip up North, why would things not happen just as they did before?

But you don't have the government collecting the petition.
Or preventing the other side from collecting their own petition on equal footing. A Jagex run site advertised on the front page is not going to collect as much support as a grass roots forum campaign where forum use is something like 10% of users.

1. Free wildy should be returned, without revenants ofcourse, on all worlds except the current pk worlds should be "safe" wildy with revenants. (maybe do it like 50% "safe", 50% pvp)

2. Free trade should also be brought back, but the G.E. aswell as pricechecker should remain as a reference and easy trading while offline. RWTing happens with or without free trade it just makes it a tiny bit more annoying to them and a LOT more annoying to us...
3. Being lured or scammed isn't only the scammer's or lurer's fault... if you pay attention you can prevent it from happening to you. Don't push away the blame for mistakes you could have prevented yourself.
4. A lot of people have said "Jagex just does this for money", even if that were true, almost everyone in their shoes would love to get more money, it's easy to critisize on it when you're not the one getting the money.

@Raed- Because the community has changed since then. Whilst I agree it MAY return and increase if it's brought back, it's definitely not a major concern. I bet some people actually did battle it out in the wilderness when offered a fight.
As I said; there are more annoying things currently in RS than the 'lets fight in wild then' - and what do we do? Ignore it.

I know this has already been said, but the way you are gathering "votes" is clearly flawed. Anyone can just enter any name and vote, or even vote anonymously.
Your data needs to be purged, and you need to set up a true system whereby each player must log in to vote, eliminating the ability for people to just enter every name they come accross and submit as a yes vote. There needs to be the option to vote yes and no, and there needs to be a separate vote on each issue.
These are truly important issues that need to be carefully considered.
I like the way PVP worlds allow a choice now where people can avoid the PVP aspect of gameplay by not logging in to those worlds. I sincerely hope you are not removing our ability to choose a world away from PVP.
