Hello. I'm your average troll, i live under bridges and eat slop...
Today i've had a good adventure, i went to a website that asked me if I wanted to bring back the trade/wilderness...
Ofcourse, I am a troll, and what do trolls do?
I massively spammed the vote button, but to my suprise, i needed a runescape account name...
I ventured to your highscores, and to my astonishment...
I Found hundreds and thousands and millions of usernames at my disposel and quickly started clicking away..
Oh my gosh that was getting quite hard on my fingers...So i created a MACRO to do it for me...Oh how i loved those hundreds and thousands of votes i just created...
So that was my big adventure... Hope you enjoyed it!

Hey,
So I've had different accounts since 2004 so I've seen my fair share of changes come and go on the game.
I do like the old style wilderness, but I like more now, how it's only in certain worlds. I get a clue scroll every week, and if i went to go find the end of it, go PKed and then got almost nothing from the scroll. I would start to get really ticked off.
The trade limit I feel is a good idea because it prevents serious scamming between people that don't know each other. I had quit for a while back in 2007 RIGHT before the trade limit because I got scammed most of my bank. So I feel we should keep the trade limit, just we should make it higher. I have 129 QP's and I can only trade like 29k. So if it was to be doubled, that would be good. If you were to remove the trade limit I feel that should only be done between longstanding friends the way the trade limit is 4x between long term friends now.

We've all been fine for 2 years because we accepted that the changes were necessary. NOT ONLY were they to stop the ever-growing problem of RWTing, but to combat things like scamming as well.
YES, I miss having the old wilderness and free trade, but I do NOT miss competing for a yew tree with 3 dozen bots or watching an army of them march back and forth from the bank to the aubury to get more pure essence.
You put us through these changes two years ago, and now you're going to do it again in reverse?!

My decision to quit was based on my lack of enjoyment of the game due to changes in 2007**** was more enjoyable back then for the majority of players. And it was never that bad, that was only a select few f2p worlds, and Jagex have said that they think this will be less of a problem.

At the current rate of votes, we will only have 1675092 votes at the end of the voting period. This is bad. Very bad. But it also helps to prove my point.
Jagex is just trying to cause hype. How come they didn't make the vote as obvious as the 10k drawing they're going to have /next/ year? How come they aren't doing a yes/no poll? How come it's so easy to take random account *sernames to vote? How come you can vote several times per IP? Because over half of the accounts in Jagex's system have been completely forgotten. There is no way to find these names, and their creators will never hear of this vote or remember the names of their accounts. Jagex knows this, and is doing this so that later they can tell us "See? You don't want the free wilderness or the free trade back." This is exactly what car companies did with the electric car. And now they're doing this to us.
Please copy and paste this message so that others will know Jagex's plot.

This is quite possibly the dumbest thing you've ever done, and there has been some dumb things in the past. You already know exactly how this vote will go. Why?
News flash: people vote for their own self interests. Bringing back free trade and the old wilderness will make it much easier for people to cheat and gain unfair advantages, so of course people will go for it.
Your job is to keep the game running smoothly and make decisions in the best interests of all the players, however unpopular. The survival of the game is the most important thing.
Despite your flaws, one thing you've always been consistent on is the big picture; having our best interests in mind when we are just thinking of what we want right now. Until this anyway.
If you really think you can deal with all the botting/RWTing that will come up after you make this change, you are delusional.
