What good will a 300k bow drop do you? You can't *ell it because he just used the crystal bow first of all and so, it can't be traded. It can't even be alched. Second of all, he'll be keeping 3 items if you attack him first and he's auto retaliating and switches weapons since you don't get skulled for retaliating, you only get skulled if you attack first. Crystal bow protects over Arma plate and Arma skirt, so it sure will protect over black dragonhide etc. Even if he is skulled, he can protect item and keep the crystal bow since he'd keep 1 item.
Anyway, the smart move would be to pull out a magic shortbow and let someone eat rune arrows. It's pretty fast, can hit 21s and the special attack can be extremely potent. Not to mention, it isn't too inaccurate and it's not expensive either. Then again, I have defence on my side and vengance, so the advtange of a shield with a crossbow is only an advantage against a decent defence if their defence is almost as good/better and the shield is a great one.

Actually, many many pages ago, I said about free trade killing mercher ccs like warfarin drops rats. So may I join your crew that are happy that free trade is gonna kill manipulator ccs? =D

You must've hated Runescape before 2007 (assuming you played).
I'm not a PKer at all but I love the old RS so much more. The interaction is what made it awesome. Those cannon noobs? Frustrating, but better than everyone just silently getting their kills in perfect tandem.
Runescape THRIVES off the chaos of players. You need to understand this. The annoyance you felt with the cannon players taking your dragon turned into fresh exhileration when you found a world without that problem. And that one moment of exhileration was worth every world hop. Why? Because it was your way of coping with interaction.
Think of the RS you play today: Where is the interaction we had post-2007? Where is the day where you added that cannon-user to your friends list after politely talking out a deal with them, with them eventually becoming one of your best RS friends? Those days are gone, but may now come back!
I personally managed to politely work out a deal with people that hogged things all the time. It's not so bad, and the reward is a positive social interaction.

Me: I keep hearing something I forgot about free trade RS, And that is how much more I interacted with other players.
When free trade was taken away Runescape just turned into another institution that we live in, being told what we can and cannot do.
Amung others but all alone...
Which is exactly why we all loved runescape so much, It was more than just a game. It was the community we all wanted to live in.
I really am exited to be talking about this.



Am I really the only one who feels this way?

I read your last post... and you proved just what I was saying a few pages ago. How players learn to avoid the bad and gain the good through experience. And how that made the game fun.

no one pks with a Zaniks cross bow are you sure:-P
a bow that hits more threw prayer even if they using protect from range think about it :-P
and i will let you know you can sell crystal seeds on g.e for 140k ty :-P

Honestly I was thrilled about the Cbow when I first got it. But with my range... (not too impressive, but not necesarrily bad by any means) I rarely got great hits even with the prayer bonus *I often tested it in Cwars and other safe PVP events* I stopped using it after awhile because, quite frankly, I almost never got those wortwhile bonuses from prayer-inspired hits.
