Fred i think you need to learn to pk, you look like the type that walk in pvp worlds spec wioth d bows and tele for your life. IVe been playing on and off since 05, i know the difference between the wildernesses, it is vast.
Back in the day it was a hell lot better which most of the people would agree, do you know why jagex are doing this?
simple, if you go on the homepage you will see that currentley people who are logged on are nearly always 120-150k at a time. This was not the cast back in the years.
I remember seeing at least 300-400k. Now less people mean less money. Jagex have NOW realised this, which is a, 'NOOO YOU DONT SAY' kind of reaction.

Rahman blad why do peopel assume that if you dont want lame bad wildy you cant pk or your a noob its a stupid aqusation and shows what the people that want it so bad are like they think
oh wildy I will be the worlds best pk and everyone else is a noob i will make loads others dont know how to pk
then when they walk in and see i dont know for exmaple the overpowerd people with blood barrage staff of light and soul split. prayer pots and extreme magic pots go into wildy there see why its a bad idea now the new moves are a trillion times stronger than the moves back when we had old wildy.
the might realise oh no this aint going ot be as easy as i thought

OldScape ftw! bring back the wildy and free trade! You're just a noob if you get lured... when getting scammed you've clicked to fast or didn't had a good look at what the other was offering. The wildy is already a dangerous place with the revenants and now it will get slightly more dangerous, you shud just watch out. Jagex has good enough thingies to kill the botters and stuff so no worries.
BRING BACK THE OLD RUNESCAPE! W00000T!!

Rahman blad, I totally agree with you. This new update may put the "spark" back into RuneScape, as well. I'm not entirely concerned with the wilderness, but I'm sure many other people are. I am, however, wanting free trade back, so there won't be any more junk trading/lending. I'm hoping that we will have enough votes to justify bringing it back ;D

Many people on this forum seem to be against this based off these reasons listed:
1.Botting
2.RWT
3.Scamming
4.Luring
Given these Negative responses from people on this topic I can only see that these people have had this happen to them or they have seen it happen. Now, noting that we can further assume, that these people giving Negative responses are being targeted with one of the tactics in the previous list. We can safely say that they were levels between 20-70 at the time they were presented with these kinds of tactics for their first time. Having ended badly, these players sought to having free trade and the wild removed due to the fact of what I have just explained.
Now, I have found the real reason to why people don't want it back:
They are fearful of the change.
Even though people are scared of this changing back into what Runescape was, they are still thinking scamming and luring are a threat to them. Yet, Jagex has put into place measures to counter-act scamming and luring with messages and displays. Players who don't heed these messages are therefore oblivious to what is happening and are penalized for their faults of not reading or paying attention.
RWT and Botting is taken care of by Jagex in their own fashion.
Having said that All Negative responses have been eliminated from this thread, rendering useless to anyone debating against this topic.

do we get to keep our brawler gloves when the wildy comes back?
cause i have alot on my main, and will they be tradeable cause my main is maxed out and i could sell them.
and can we still get them as drops?
i read the post but i dont know if it only means the weapons and armour.
