I want a fair, true vote on this. Win or lose.
But I don't want it back.
Its been nice to not have to deal with "Fight me in wildy then noob" as the counter to every unrelated argument or disagreement.
Player 1 "I think woodcutting is better than Rcing because I can let is sit and chop in the background while surfing the web and the money is about the same."
Player 2 "Bull, noob! No wai is it better. Fight me in the wildy then and prove it."
Player 1 "Wait, what?"
*sigh* I hope it doesn't pass, by this failed 'poll' Jagex set up.

wow..... i really was not expecting anything as low or sickening as this.
ok so the "vote" counter is rigged; no option to say no, and no limit to the votes possible... i tried it out to be sure.
and if you think im in favor of this,... well im adamantly opposed.
so since the voting is rigged and lets be *clear* mod mark,
it is undeniably so. no option but yes and no way to limit votes to one vote a person. then i must conclude what i know with what what i have seen; this is not a vote that matters in the least.
that being said one of 2 possiblities have arisen; you want botting back on an epic scale-and this could be possible since they are rampant as it is.
or this is the most tasteless of possible jokes you could have thought up.
all in all a classless thing to even think of much less put it in use. shame on you jagex. out of one side of your mouth you speak of listening to players and caring about them. and out of the other you bring this back up.

hey guys, about the votes, in less than half day there are already half million votes, counter reached that in HALF day, what does this mean? at the end of year there will be around 5million votes, decision is obvious, wilderness will be back very soon so stop cryin about it

I most definately agree to bring back free trade and the old wilderness, but i also hope that they put it in only certain worlds just in case you have those that are doing a quest or other important stuff in the wilderness. on that note they should really remove revenants if they bring back old wilderness, and keep the price-checker so people can keep up to date with item prices, so as to protect people from being scammed and cheated on an item price

I've never seen the old wildy, but i know what it was, and if this requires the G.E. being taken out(i dont know if it isnt or not)then i say complete NO. Bringing back the old wildy is fine, as long as the G.E. stays, but then again, what about stealing creation and clue scrolls and beacons? they'd be impossible to get. As for the free trade, id say no, because it would kill all the work required to enjoy the game. for instance, i could talk to my rich buddy and say "hey man, can i get full bandos?" and he could give it to me if i wanted. this would basically kill the game, and make it boring. id say change the trade limit so we can get more stuff in, but not ditch it. So, i have to say NO to this one. if you want PvP, go to the PvP worlds.

As of now, I feel there is little information given to us. If these questions are answered, I will be able to give my vote knowing that if this update really does work, it'll be for the better.
- Will the old wilderness affect all worlds? Will it only be put in certain worlds or will it replace the current pvp worlds?
- Will anything happen to the Grand Exchange if there is no trade limit?
I feel it is better to have certain worlds as "No Trade Limit" worlds. These worlds would be certain to have no scamming, since you should really only be trading with friends here.
- Will the trade screen still show the current Grand Exchange price?
I feel that you could set the trade screen with a "Warning" that the amount paid is not enough so that scamming could still be avoided, then have a "Yes, No" option to accept the trade.
These are only my suggestions if this update will be set.

Bycott the return of Free Trade and the Wilderness.
Everybody wants them back for all the good reasons. And I agree, when used responsibly, free trade and the wilderness was great. But there are the bad reasons which everyone seems to "glaze" over. There are too many players who exploited free trade.
Nearly everyone I have chatted to over the years has at least one story of being scammed or hacked. This is why Jagex brought in the Grand Exchange, limited trade and "nerfed" the Wilderness. Have you people forgotten those times? Don't you remember the anger, frustration & embarassment you felt when you got scammed? If you bring back those days, you will bring back the scammers, the gold farmers and the hackers. It's a guarantee. Human nature won't let this fact be altered. Then what? Everybody will be complaining about being scammed again, how the economy is in chaos or how resource skilling is not profitable because bots have flooded the market. We all chuckle about ".... the time I got tricked by the trimming rune armour scam", well what happens when it comes back? Are you going to laugh then?
Jagex says they have more sophisticated systems to detect & stop bots. They aren't the only things that have gotten more sophisticated. Bot programs have become just as elaborate and complex; even to the point where they can respond to questions. Anti botting systems are like anti virus systems: they are always one step behind the most sophisticated programs! Are you going to tell me there are no bots playing Runescape right now?
I do not believe players are looking at the pros and cons of returning free trade and pvp wilderness from an impartial viewpoint. They only see what they want and to hell with the risks, They hope the worst will never happens. Well guess what? The worst will happen.
Jagex, on your voting website, you have a "Yes" button. Put in a "No" button and see how many people actually do not want to see these return. I certainly will click on the "No" button.

Listen guys.
1. Wildy is supposed to be a dangerousplace to go. IF YOU WANT PEACEFUL PLACE, I SUGGEST YOU SHOULD TRY LUMBRIDGE.
2. Trading freely and keeping the ge at the sametime is good. Runecrafters can trade runners and do rc running again. This is just fabulous. This s the way to overthrown price manuplaitation clans. WE CAN STAKE AGAIN.
