As for something that I think we can all agree on, I don't think there should be any means of receiving this title from another event in the future. As only 100 people should be receiving this title, adding another event for people to receive this title would be over 100 people. I think this title should only become rarer from accounts being lost or being banned.

If I got the title on an error and then had it taken away, I could imagine how that would feel.

If you believe the title's sense of value and accomplishment is at question over one or two more people having it, you need to learn that the world doesn't revolve around you.


The sense of accomplishment should come from how hard you worked and the experience it was along the way for you.

If Jagex accidentally credited your account with 200 keys and you used them all only for Jagex to message you saying they had made a mistake and that they were going to deduct them from your daily keys until they were all paid back as a result. Would you call that unfair? I'm aware they're two situationally different things, but the concept is the same and
the amount of extra people with the title will not be large enough that you should get your feelings all worked up about it.


Rather than complain about what others have, let's just be appreciative that the community team made this possible!

In what way are treasure hunter keys and a rare title people have put 50+ hours into getting even remotely similar? One you can purely buy out with real world currency and the other you had to spend your own time on one limited rare.

If I received the title only to be taken away from me, yes I would be pretty angry but I would agree that it was the right thing to be done.

Such a better number!@!@!@ Lol because that would make the title a lot less rare and is very unneeded, if you really really really wanted the title, you would of paid attention to the forums and collected a lot more then bare minimum or even below that. I am not saying that you did not want the title nor did you try hard to receive it. :)

I disagree, I don't have any issues with future easter related contests giving this title.

What I would suggest is building on the titles. So if you have Egg-cellent and you win again next time, you get a new title, if you don't have egg-cellent then you earn egg-cellent. This way someone can show off coming in top 100 (or whatever the contest calls for) twice with just the one title but no titles have to be discontinued and unearnable by future players. Then the next year, a third one for people that won the previous year.
