Just my opinion because I gave up early and didn't get close but they could throw in a few extra to cover the auto clickers. Then the next competition don't rush the results out and have a disclaimer.

Please make more competitions like this one, but without hidden scores & with cycles of one week each, just like seasonals!

Pretty sad when Jagex bans a player that did nothing wrong just to prevent them from getting a title. I sure hope this is not the way they plan on doing group holiday events in the future as well. They don't even let the person know why they was banned or let them communicate with someone to tell their side of the story. Removing players this way just so others can get the title is just very very wrong.
The only thing holding you back is yourself!

If I got the title on an error and then had it taken away, I could imagine how that would feel.

If you believe the title's sense of value and accomplishment is at question over one or two more people having it, you need to learn that the world doesn't revolve around you.


The sense of accomplishment should come from how hard you worked and the experience it was along the way for you.

If Jagex accidentally credited your account with 200 keys and you used them all only for Jagex to message you saying they had made a mistake and that they were going to deduct them from your daily keys until they were all paid back as a result. Would you call that unfair? I'm aware they're two situationally different things, but the concept is the same and
the amount of extra people with the title will not be large enough that you should get your feelings all worked up about it.


Rather than complain about what others have, let's just be appreciative that the community team made this possible!

Your analogy is terrible. The title is 100% cosmetic, keys are not. Also, there is nothing that they could subtract going forward to make up for their mistake. Further, I propose that the players wrongly given the title are compensated in any other way.

The sense of accomplishment comes from WINNING. If the title was awarded for participating or being not in the top 100, I would not have put in the effort.

I guess I'm appreciative that the community team put this together, I just wish they'd spent more than ten minutes planning the competition before release.

:o They should flip a coin.....heads, a couple more people get the title.....tails, they don't.....But with all seriousness if they decide to have this title available again I shall be upset. No point in doing it if you can just get it another time...I think it was clearly said reset time when Easter event ends is when the eggs will be taken into account....anything after is just rotten eggs....Also I'm a hardcore ironman, so if I die that'll mean 99 people have the title so that would be funny...But I'm playing it safe....FOR....EV.....VER.....FOR....EV.....VER......

The problem is that they didn't force people to log out and update their counts OR wait long enough that the counts would update themselves...

As long as the total count of people with title is 100, I'm a happy eggcelent.

I will riot if they put this title up again, though I wouldn't mind a shirt or trucker hat next year that says egg-celent

I don't see how i'm being selfish about saying only 100 people should receive the title, that was the agreement and that's how many should get the title. There was always a huge risk in this competition spending hours upon hours out of every single day and having a chance for no rewards except a small amount of experience and cash. I am not saying that this is not Jagexs mistake or even the players mistake, but that it is not fair to players (the ones who care), may it be the ones with the title or the ones who feel like they deserve it as well now. If they are not in the top 100 people they did not win the title, why do they deserve it? Give them something in return for compensation but not devalue the title for others. As E said one of these things that Jagex could give them is some spins/runecoins/loyalty points/membership/t-shirts/concept art/anything other than the title. In the end this is all Jagexs choice, but I do feel as if there should only be 100 titles. I am sorry that I actually voice my opinion and you think that I sound selfish, but I am definitely not the only one that feels this way.
