If you're having trouble doing the final puzzle fast enough, run to the opposite wall and wait for the monster attacking you to reach you. Then click directly on the puzzle door, because you can get to the door faster than your monster. Hopefully this will give you a few extra seconds to solve the puzzle.

If you're having trouble doing the door puzzle because of the monsters
1. Be on the standard or ancient spellbook
2. Bring runes for any of the paralysis spells/ice spells
3. Paralyze/freeze the monster
Since it will be unable to attack you, you can complete the puzzle without any hassle.

Easiest way to safespot any of the melee brothers in their crypts.
Is to get them stuck in the middle of any of the sides of the coffin then freeze them and they will be stuck without getting a attack in then just repeat to take no damage!

The best way to do well at barrows is your equipment and how you take on the brothers. First off get Guthans for its healing effect down in the crypt. For the rest of your equipment bring high defence and prayer boosting items. Bring an Ahrims top and a polypore staff for maging the melee brothers. Good things to use to kill Ahrim and Karil are a dds and whip combo.
(For original 6 Barrows brothers)
First start off at Dharok and use a super defence potion dose. Then hit him until he is about half health and use a prayer potion dose and protect from melee. Once he is defeated hurry out so that you don't lose more prayer points. With the rest of your prayer points go ahead and attack Karil with a dds's special and then a whip. After Karil is defeated you should be out or nearly out of prayer points so you might as well go after Verac since he hits through prayer anyways. You can use a prayer potion before entering Torag's crypt or Guthan's crypt (whichever you prefer first). The prayer should last you through most of the two battles. Finally you have Ahrim. Due to using ur dds a ways back at Karil you should be around 50% special attack energy. Use the dds then whip against him. One of them should be the crypt so you can work around that to your liking.

My method, Verac, Dharok, Guthan, Torag, Karil, Ahrim. Take the polypore staff as it works greatly here with mage gear and a Vecna skull (for pretty much a free magic potion) pray the correct protections on all of them and you'll have no problem. With the polypore staff's attack it should be fairly easy to kill them, be sure to bring a melee weapon for Akriase I bring about 5 pray pots and can last about 3-4+ trips on it that's about all I can offer lol have fun Slayers!!!

The fastest and cheapest way to get to Barrows starting from Varrock (without the direct teleport and must be able to use Fairy Rings): A quick and cheap way to get to Varrock is to home teleport to Lumbridge and use the canoe to get to Edgeville and you'll be placed right outside the Grand Exchange. Use the underground shortcut northwest of the Grand Exchange and head south to see and you'll see a Fairy Ring. If you have to, leave an inventory space for a dramen staff or lunar staff to use the fairy rings. Once in Zanaris, click the fairy ring again and use the combination 'C K S' and you'll be teleported a bit south of the Slayer Tower. From here you can go enter the swamp south and run the long way to Barrows, go east to Canifis head behind the bar and enter the trapdoor if you've completed In Search of the Myreque for a shorter route, or you can head east into Canifis and use the bank. Cost: 0gp
2. Have fun and enjoy the loot.

First off, there are several tips that can go along
1: if your a beginner, go with a melee set and a mage set to find which one suits you better.
2: if you want to do mage but dont want to spend money for it , use a black salamander, as they are cheap and hit very accurately.
3: Fight ahrim 1st before you use you super potions as he will reduce your stats, then go to verac to make sure you know you can make the trip with enough food left as verac can hit through prayer.
4: When your in the tunnel/dungeon, find where the chest is and create a map in your head that point out which directions lead back to the rope,.
Just my tips, hope they help
