I didn't want it last time, I don't want it now. I'll use it to the fullest most likely though.
To be honest, with double exp weekend last spring, double exp summer and now another double exp weekend I'm starting to get to the point where I just don't care anymore. It's bad for game, constant exp promotions are bad... It ruins the balance of the economy and devalues consistent playing.
Members get 2 spins instead of one *sings and dances*
Members get 2 spins instead of one *tralalala*
I know you have to repeat this EVERY GODDAM DAY, since the rs3 kids have an attention span of about .0000000004 seconds. They can't handle any skill taking more than 10 minutes to max out. Freaking babyscape/buy your way to 99 with mommy's credit card-scape.
I'll just um, log on to osrs to escape this constant drumbeat of promos promos promos, DOUBLE MINT GUM DOUBLE XP XP XP, 9 TRILLION COSMETIC OUTFITS!!!
Ever notice while in osrs, you click-and your character almost immediately moves to that spot? Ahhhh, so refreshing and perfect. Simple and awesome-where gameplay rulez, and actual content, not this constant DOUBLE DOUBLE DOUBLE BUYABLE XP. Urrrgh, so annoyed at rs3, makes me want to puke.
In rs3, it is an annoying like HALF A SECOND between click and action. I hate that!
At least when I click to deposit something in the bank it is instant.
You mad bor?

Everybody always have to complain about everything.
No they don't. I
love
Old School runescape. I heap praises on the old school team quite frequently. OSRS is the way forward, not this sickening promo-milking the cash cow-scape.
The entire rs3 gameplay can be summed up with one item. SILVERHAWK BOOTS. Hey kids now you can get agility experience while um, using your glassblowing pipe!
Lodestones=babyscape
Runespan
mg, don't get me started.
Next update to rs3, a treadmill you can stand on that trains all your skills at the same time!!! There's an entire room full of people all standing on this 'all skills-treadmill', and they can even chat with each other! How cool is that???
While you stand on the all-skills treadmill, you can even make the game take you to your favorite movie, so you can watch movies while training everything to max!
Oh but wait, there's more! For a limited time only if you purchase the platinum package for only $999.99, all your skills trained on the 'all skills-treadmill' are increased x5!! Get a max cape in just under 1 full day! Void in utah-operators are standing by.
Billy Mays here...are you tired of training agility the normal way (a video of a housewife tripping over pots and pans, and the entire kitchen blows up)?

If you play OSRS, why are you here complaining about RS3, a game you obviously don't play? Shut up. No one here cares what you think. You're just annoying.

^ This. And it's quite annoying.
The economy is already at an extremely low point, and obviously nothing is going to be done about it in the near future. To me, if it's ruined a little bit more, oh well. I know there are flaws in this way of thinking and almost no one else will agree, but whatever.
Besides, almost everyone complaining about DXP Weekend is going to take advantage of it anyways, so it's just a bunch of hypocrisy flying around, as per usual.

It's not hypocrisy to be concerned about the negative effects of DXP Weekend and use it. Why should I or anyone else set themselves in disadvantageous situation just because we don't agree it's healthy for the game to be bombarding players with constant EXP promotions?
I'm, however, starting to stop caring like you already seem to have. So yeah, DXP Weekend, economy is unstable again, whatever... What... Ever...
