Look at the news posts, there is something in there which states a way that Jagex are stopping that.

For the other batches, will they be the same as this one with a news post on the homepage or will they be released in the same size batches daily after the first one goes live?

Also, will the names be released on reset or when you do a system/game update for the other batches?

Can a J Mod PLEASE confirm if we have to be logged into the rs3 game and change it via the hero interface or can we do it from the 'manage account' section of the website? Also will we have to relog on the website/in-game before it will say the name is available?

Let's say we're waiting for the countdown right, and we've already got our desired username typed in the name change box and it says it's unavailable until the countdown ends. Will it automatically change to "available" when the time comes? Or will we have to refresh the page? And would it be the same for the Hero Interface?

This is pretty cool I guess. I don't really care that you're releasing new names though. I liked the days where we could log-in with a username and ******** not an email. It kind of just ruins the fun of it for me. Back at my height of playing Runescape I'd spend hours figuring out the most awesome name I could find. Now we're forced to use an email which I don't understand at all.

I never really liked the fact that you could change your name but I've accepted it.

If it were up to me, I know it isn't, I'd revert back to the old system and free up the names anyways. Names don't even matter anymore... It's like I walk around and see a person named something awesome and it doesn't mean anything.

Just my two cents.
