A couple of questions:

It says 'around' 2pm; will there be a 10 minute countdown timer in-game, or will i simply have to camp the website until a wanted name becomes 'available'.

If i were to type the name i wanted into the 'character name change' on the website, would it just immediately switch to 'available' when the update occurs, or will I have to reload the page/ re-log in and then it will be shown as available?

No countdown, no system update. Simply camp the account management website or ingame interface.

It will not change on it's own. I would suggest adding a random letter to the name and then removing it to force a recheck.

F2P accounts can't change names without subscribing.
As for brand new accounts, they should be able to take them.

Who can change their name?

Members accounts are able to change their character names once every 28 days. The names we are releasing will only be available to members.


so yea, the newly released names will be members only (tho i hope they don't stay that way)

Some people are so **** lazy. Asking all of these questions about where the list is (multiple whole threads relate to just this). Asking at what time...I mean really? Read the thread you're posting on? It's not like the names will be released a hour before or after 2PM GMT. If so I'm sure we'll get a heads up. "Around" shouldn't be more than 15 minutes away. Use common sense people and atleast look for threads relating to what you're ranting about please.
