Thanks for pointing that out, Skyzah. Apologies for the confusion - the gallery will open on the 20th, and the deadline for voting will be Sunday July 27th , not 20th. Thanks for pointing that out - I'll change it now.

I've been wondering about something.. Are the winners selected on the amount of likes their video receives? If so, what prevents the famous video makers from making a cool video and exploiting their fan base to like it?

It would seem unfair for any players who don't have amazing video skills.

Also, If it's not the fans of someone, i'm pretty sure someone will end up creating a load of facebook accounts to like their video entry. :| Social media:

I have a question. If you saw a very poorly made entry get a huge part of the votes and win over some much more deserving entries, that have had alot of effort put into them, would you still let the poorly made entry get in the top 5? I'm concerned that people with alot of friends have bigger chances of winning by sharing them, and some people might create multiple account to like their own entry. This might not happen at all, but I can't but be a little concerned about it.

Also, will we able to see how many likes the different entries have on the Facebook gallery?

The winners are voted for in our Facebook gallery, rather than YouTube likes - hopefully mitigating the effect of entrants with large amounts of YouTube subscribers entering and making it a 'fair fight'.

Unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to do a lot about the voting into the top 5, as this is all decided by you guys. However, we can assure you that our team of judges will be able to tell what is a great-quality video, and what isn't.

And I'm also going to try to limit people seeing how many likes a video has (just need to double-check I can do it), because I think it's the fairest way to it :)

Hi, I had a question I was wondering you, Mod Jd can help, thanks.

I'm new to this whole video making thing and contests in general so no idea what I'm doing! I submitted my video via the facebook entry page yesterday and I did get an entry confirmation number, but I don't see it in the gallery page with the other videos that have been entered. Is there a reason for this? My video was under 45 seconds and didn't break any rules.

I also noticed some videos already have votes on them and I was able to vote for one myself. I thought voting didn't open until July 20th? This is bit unfair considering some videos haven't even been entered yet?

PS: To everyone who entered, what a creative bunch you all are! Well done! I've enjoyed them all so far! :D
