I think Jarkurs video didn't deserve to be penalised like this. As part of the cast that helped work in his video, it is evident that a lot of time and effort has gone into his video.
This obviously paid off after getting into to the top 5 of the gallery. There is a few grey areas with this decision.
Firstly, if Jarkurs video was to be removed, it should have been removed long ago before the top 5 were even picked. I think it's unfair that once his video has made it into the top 5, it's all of a sudden not applying to the rules. That should have been picked up long ago. Once you have a space in the top 5, there shouldn't be any further deletion of videos because those 5 spots are locked in.
Secondly, Surely you guys could have been a bit lenient with the extra time he exceeded considering it was giving credit to those that helped him in the creation of the video. The credits in no way possible had enhanced the video in any way except to the players who were featured in it, who would have already been voting for the video anyway, obviously.
I think dismissing the points off his video was a bit too over mark. Especially considering that the video had already made the top 5. It's very discouraging when you go from having your video in the top 5 with the possibility of wining to having to re-submit your video with zero votes as well as taking the credit out to the people who helped right throughout the video.

Jarkur had, probably a full 24 hours at least to do that. Didn't require a r*upload, just a quick edit in YouTube. But he didn't. Maybe he was busy IRL but it'd only take about 10 minutes tops. But I guess, while this Kokkor guy seems to have just popped into existence to complain, it WAS against the rules as it is...
I don't mean to come across as a bad guy for saying that, so don't get the wrong idea. Despite it not being that good to ME as the concept is 6 years old. It is a good video. Definitely would have required a lot of work. But whatever the reason... those extra 8 seconds have caused an unnecessary amount of conflict.
I agree, Jarkur seems to have been busy IRL. Kokkor really did pop up just for the complaint, jagex does value membership subscriptions *h
? I Think Jarkur should be allowed to keep his video AND Votes. Just give him the chance to quickly youtube edit the video. & @ kokkor, just cause we are in video, doesn't mean we aren't the community. We have a fair vote and say in everything.
