Thanks for another stamp tonight. Shame ****** bag griefers are allowed to ruin it for so many others.
The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, Fulton, and the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.
It is immediately evident that this whole 'stamp' scenario is getting people extremely irritated. I think the whole concept of the J-Mod stamping event is a good one, however it seems to be there is a lack of information about how it actually works and what people need to do. Also doesn't particularly help when people are just repeatedly spamming.

Agreed. Decent concept, terrible execution

You know, the simplest solution to this huge crowding would be to just make stamping players as a huge area-of-effect action. So when a Jagex moderator uses whatever item it is, they'll stamp everybody in the vicinity requiring aid without having to do that silly surge dance to every individual player.
I don't know if they didn't think of something like this, or they're not doing something like this because for some particular reason they find the manual intervention to be preferred.
I vaguely recall reading a post from a JMod about how the stamp works. Apparently, they simply click a button and it automatically stamps ten random people for the Mod. I have no idea why they would make something do that... even stamping each space individually would probably be more efficient.
Yeah, well.. I hope they go with the area of effect idea. That way everybody within like 50 spaces of the moderator using the stamp mechanism is instantaneously stamped, and no need to leave it to random chance. That's just stupid.

makes you wonder if it is actually to help, or just to troll the players that are still playing. Seems counter intuitive to frustrate so many loyal players and reward the ones with avatars/pets/familiars that are hurting so many others.

Understand your frustration but I can't imagine the mods who are stamping are intentionally not stamping people. I'm presuming its most likely a random AoE system which they are using, just unfortunate that some people aren't being chosen

Kind of hard to agree with you... In all stamping events, not one stamp yet.
