Haven't read any of Church's books yet, but the titles remind me of Raymond E.Feist's Betrayal at Krondor & Return to Krondor. I wonder if there's any connection
I bought it a while back, but never finished it!
Its a bit interesting, but a bit boring as well. Its not what I expected, but it makes a great novel anyways. Its fun to read about something you experience so often, in a game!
I will be purchasing the second one as well, but only if it comes out with the hard cover like my first one. As of right now, it is only being released in soft cover.
What happened to the books on the Jagex Store website? I bought my first book from the old Jagex Store, but now they aren't for sale anymore?
With a rating, I would say 7/10, but like I said, I haven't finished it!

This is seriously one of the most incredible things I've ever read in my life. It had all the ingredients needed for a great novel: happy moments, sad moments, and also moments I found funny
. All in all you should read this book if you love Runescape
I have recently started reading the book which I had to order online as no Australian bookstores I knew of stocked it, and... Wow. I love it. It's fast paced, the language is superb, the characters are compelling and the storyline is gripping.
I was almost disappointed at the use of horses but well, what else can you do? I admit also that I had a giggle at the Knights' awe at an "addy" sword and a ring of life; when I read someone cry "How did she get this?" what immediately went through my head was "Probably the Grand Exchange you silly!" With a larf of course.
I've already ordered Return To Canifis as well, and I know I'll get onto that the second it arrives. The book is amazing for those who enjoy the RPing aspects of the game, but if you view your character as a faceless tool for levels and don't care for the lores of Gielinor, I wouldn't bother.
Here's to T.S Church
