Because it isn't the grown up thing to do. Getting the authorities involved may have been necessary but pressing charges after the fact just shows me Wreck3d feels defeated. Filing charges against a minor because his virtual feelings were hurt just seems a bit extreme, but hey whatever makes his internet ego feel better go for it.

All in all i think it's weird how he posted a "coming clean" video after his "exposed" video was leaked. He admits to being two faced towards all the community that looked up to him. It's to bad because many thought that So Wreck3d was the Messiah to the community (including himself lol). Then to top it off, create a lawsuit.

But like Wreck3d says in his videos, he doesn't hold grudges against the people who did this to him. We now know why! Hes got a lawyer now who will hold his grudges for him!

The look on those police officer's faces HAD to have been PRICELESS.

I was honestly hoping he'd just apologize and let it be over with, I was willing to forgive him and support him if he were to do so.. But now I just can't take this kid seriously. Matt, you are a fool for what you have done. You are digging yourself a deeper hole man, just cut the **** and apologize.

Seriously though, my week has been complete **** and extremely depressing. This made it a whole lot better, the smirk on my face is extremely big.

This guy goes and talks all kinds of mad ****, and when it hits the fan he runs to the police. Honestly I wish it was the old /b/ getting ahold of him instead of the RuneScape community.

seriously.... its the best question I think ...

sorry.... to me if I was a honest j-mod I wouldn't want my name in a list of who's who if his name was there... makes them all look bad and mod mark really looks like he has egg on his face.... what a let down to see a company over look one of their primary rules for the sake of some kid who has attached a web camera to his laptop

You must be american. Believe it or not we don't all live in a culture whereby it's socially acceptable to sue anybody for whatever you possibly can in an attempt to make a quick buck and/or prove your superiority over them (as is in this case).

Illegally recording a private conversation, internet harrassment, and damaging another person's reputation publically are all highly against the law, and proper legal action should be taken, no matter who is involved.

Saying that it is a sign of defeat or weakness is ignorant. This is a serious legal issue, and should be followed up properly.
