To be honest on the topic of if it was okay to sue I take two standings, if Jagex have privately told Matt that following this ordeal they weren't prepared to stand by their offer of JModship then were I Matt I would sue the socks off the little blighter! That was the job of a lifetime down the drain because when you thought you could vent to someone they decided it was necessary to record it (who does that?) and then post it when it could do the most damage. Other standing being if they haven't in light of the damage done to his reputation for faking images then a I'd still have him reprimanded for it as it was a very base thing to do.

I like drama as much as the next person but I feel perspective has been lost. This is a job for someone who has worked hard to achieve Information Network & Computer Security to degree level and all of a sudden a clip of someone venting their frustrations over the state of the game and community is treated like if a leading politician was denying the holocaust! This precise type reaction from the portion of the community was what brought Matt to his wit's end and effectively caused him to make those remarks. If the community as a whole cannot vent frustrations without trying to destroy itself then we're doomed. There are people out there trying to make a front and unite things, primarily the three new JMods in the past, and the same portion of the community which often makes things seem angry and ungrateful swarms on them for a chance to stoke the drama.

I realise this is a bit of a messy collection of thoughts and half finished musings but I couldn't keep quiet. It wasn't Matt or Mod Mark or EoC or RS3 or Wildy nerf* that made the community the hateful and immature way it can be but us lot. Give Matt some support and not just faceless hate. He's put a lot into things so far and is on the verge of his dream job and none of us have the right to take that away after all the Good for the community he has done.

seriously though, i told ya the **** storm gonna hit. this is "jesica slaughter" all over again. the only thing he gaining from this is giving out more internet memes.
