Honestly speaking, this was my same thought upon reading the news post.

Nothing personal against So Wreck3d or the other two... Mainly because I can't say anything personal about them. I don't really know who they are. I've watched maybe a handful of their videos but ultimately they're the same as the hundreds of other lesser-known RS video makers, none of which really catch my interest. If they've managed to amass a relatively large amount of views and subscribers on YouTube then good for them I guess, but how exactly does that translate into becoming a member of the RuneScape team? Moreover, how does that translate into being a voice for the players? My thought is that it doesn't, and I'm legitimately confused by this entire situation.

It's not that I necessarily have anything against these three being added to the RuneScape team, but more that I'm not understanding why - Specifically in how the news post is billing it as an example of the "year of the players". This certainly does nothing for me or my voice in regards to this game. It's not an example of Jagex "listening to the players". It's an example of Jagex listening to three players. Three players who post on Youtube a lot.

If you want to enlist players onto the RuneScape team for a more direct community input/output, I'm not sure why you'd look to Youtube - a media hosting site where you get spoken at rather than spoken with . If anything, you should be looking towards the leaders of fansites who have a constant, personal interaction with their respective communities and the RuneScape community as a whole.

I know that Jordan, I've been around a while. My point was that a lot of Jmods don't have high post counts on there alternate account (those with fmod abilities) beause they only use them once in a while. A lot of players who become jmods have their account modded incase an emergency would arise where they have to take action at home when they can't be in the office. you say alot name 3

mat (mod mat k), tank girl (was mod poppy's before she left), CoD pickles (mod paul m), to name a few. Including these 3 new ones, regicidal, so wreck3d, and silentc0re.

Even so, but it still points out his lack of experience.

Post count hardly equates to experience. Some of my best friends are far superior to me in how to play this game (at least in measurable ways) yet have less then 100 post count.
