Discussion is pretty much pointless now.
He has admitted to it on his YT channel; his only excuse being that it is in some way ''out of context'' (which does not cut it for me).
As others have said, it is now up to Jagex to decide on a course of action (if any).

so what you're trying to say is that Youtube and videomaking is his "job" per-say, which requires no education nor real skill as anyone can learn said technology (I'm sure he's "acquired" his software for free) and makes "bank". So he's an unskilled laborer who makes nearly double that of the lower-middle class adults in the US? wut?

Hmm... so, He should feel completely entitled to be stressed out because he needs to take maybe 2 days out of his week to produce a video or two? Also consider that anyone at his subscription base with a slightest bit of common sense would have a computer devoted solely to video editing.

Think of it this way. He would have developed a formula for screenplay and can easily replicate it, so his entire editing process shouldn't be longer than an hour or two after reviewing his footage considering the phase of spamming video effects is over. Add a little vocal entertainment and that sums up his entire shooting/editing process with maybe some time spent on what he's going to say so it acts as filler during the dull gameplay footage. + time based on CPU specs to determine the render speed + time to upload on YT. (keep in mind this time isn't lost as it's on secondary CPU). This earns him quite a bit of money because his subscription base finds it intriguing somehow.

Unskilled formulaic worker slips up and his only potential loss is a position @ JaGeX which would give less than what he makes currently? Who's to say he won't "slip" again? I'm sorry, but I don't see how this is acceptable whenever something much lesser to this degree happened with Paula Deen, celebrity chef, and she is now nobody.

It just makes JaGeX look flimsy if they add someone who's an average troll/wannabe/ill satisfied individual to their staff list whenever his research/reason skills are subpar while they have entire forum sections of people consistently saying the same things/posting suggestions and is completely overlooked (see FORUMS)

The point is, it doesn't matter if it's in or out of context. What's done is done.

Try pulling the same stunt off at your work place/saying it to a fellow employee and they refer this info to your boss. Try using "out of context" as your rationale, you're just wasting your time because you're done. It doesn't matter if it's a slight slip of the ranting rage he showcased. Refer to the subtle Paula Deen reference.

As per Ajm, I can back up his point with a VERY recent story in the news, this is relating to an actor on a Soap called Coronation street, he plays a mechanic.

Recently a video surfaced where he said some vile things in a rap, which would offend almost all of his audience (mainly this soap is watched my females).

He was sacked due to this rap. This was made 1 year ago, before he was even working for them. That doesn't matter, it is bad reputation and looks poor to keep someone on who talks in that method.
I am of course referring to actor Chris Fountain (Search it if you're unfamiliar with the story or aren't from the UK)

Using this as the general mentality of a massive company / service that is in a big spotlight then So Wreck3d should also be treated the same way.

No matter how or in what context it was stated, he's offended the whole playerbase, branded everyone as RWTers by saying "everyone dabbles" then tries to chalk it up to an "angry moment".

Angry moment or not, he makes Runescape look bad, he makes the community look bad, that is why i am so strongly against his appointment now.

This is a welcome thread, and we are welcoming him by saying we don't want him.

I don't care if it was a slip up, or if he just lost his composure, or if he was under the horrible stress of being a youtube video maker, but I do not want someone like that to represent me or anyone else.

Yes as a human being he is allowed to have his own opinion, but as a Jagex mod he should be at least passionate about the game. However, the opposite has been demonstrated.

He said that he plays the game for his viewers and to make videos, but not for himself anymore. That honestly makes me believe that he can give a rat's ass about the game or the viewers, he just wants to make videos for the fame and for the youtube money. That's not illegal or even wrong, but I do NOT want someone like that as a jmod.

I'm not going to call him a racist because I don't know the validity of the information, but from what I could see, the least I can say for him is that he is immature and pretentious. And though those traits aren't as detrimental as being a racist, I think being a Jagex Mod for the COMMUNITY, requires some maturity, genuineness, and integrity.

So he can put up the cutest and best face for all his diehard fans, but I think once people have seen the other side of him, it's not a very attractive picture. And especially not one that should represent this community.
