I just cancled my subscription after playing for 6 years and being a paying customer for 5 years non stop. This is all because of the "Evolution Of Combat". If you could in anyway bring back some worlds for the old runescape that would be great and I would love to come back to the game. Sad to see this game go to waste.

I personally love EOC. I didn't at first, simply cuz i had no idea what was going on. Until i took the time to learn each ability and how powerful it can be. Yeah its a bit upsetting about the drastic crashes and that its harder to make money by pure skilling. But as for the combat side=win. I needed a new challenge since it was becoming very boring and EOC sorted that out. Now if only others would adapt and actually take the time out to learn how it works instead of spamming numbers and hoping for the best and then not getting the result they wanted. Its a lot of fun and requires "training" in those 3 combat styles. Once you get the hang of it, boy oh boy is it thrilling :)

Sounds like you guys need some new people who can actually come up with ideas.

Thats a joke right? The change from classic to runescape 2 wasn't "big" at all. You guys just made the game look better, it still had the same feel and it was still runescape. This EOC thing has changed everything dramatically.

Hz House here, I don't beleive you care what one person has to say but I'm going to say it anyway. This game has been a massive part of my childhood I started playing in 03 for the most part I had multiple pures subscribed as members to this game for the majority of the 9 years I played I loved this game and it makes me sad watching all the old memories of the game and how it used to be I'm not a guy who doesn't like using bars and that (I play alot of league) it was just not for runescape and definitely not aimed at pures. Pures have always been a massive part of the community it's like you just snubbed us out with this update I'm affraid ill be cancelling my membership really sad to see a good friend "runescape" that I grew up with the ups and downs die like this it is pretty upsetting I'm sorry about the grammar I'm using my iphone to send this message I will keep my account open waiting for the reneg on this awful update to seek out new players and kick the old veterans in the teeth.

Just cancelled my membership due to EoC. It's been a good run, Jagex, but I think I'm going to move on. Thanks for releasing me from my Runescape "addiction."

Yes, I'm sure that the "majority" of players, most of them probably newer players, like the update. But as a "pure" that has played runescape since '05, I believe, I feel like this update made a completely different game out of Runescape. Change the name. Allow us to play the "old" Runescape, like you allow players to play Runescape Classic. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, is geared to get players to max out all of their combat stats... There's no longer an incentive to be unique.
