I personally can not stand the EoC combat style, i think the old combat style was sort of what separated rs from any other game, It was simple, and i think the EoC aspect of the game is what might of killed the addiction part to the combat style of the game, the feeling that u wanted to keep playing, at the moment, i could up and leave without hesitation, it was different before. i Enjoyed training combat, i enjoyed doing slayer, i enjoyed the simpleness, EoC was a change, people don't like change, Maybe u should post a poll or something, People have tried it out, and now it should just be up to the customer, the people who pay to play. Runescape can only ever go so far, maybe it peaked, there are too many other games out there, i played wow for years, still do occasionally, i dont see the resemblance from wow to runescape, but i do see where the ideas came from, and i am not too happy with it, thats all i gotta say, if you take a poll and vote for EoC, then let it was meant to be, If not, then change it back, I guarentee a bulk number of players will rejoin and everything will be at peace again.

While a lot of people may like this new combat system, there are still people like me who like the old runescape combat system better. Keep the new combat system by all means but please for the sake of people who aren't in favor of it make like 1 or 2 worlds that don't involve the new combat system.That way everyone is happy. I've learned that the game industry is all about making compromises and in this case i think a compromise should be made.

The eoc made such drastic changes to the game that instead of taking the time to relearn its core aspects, I would much rather put that effort into learning how to play a new, better RPG. I've played RS for almost 7 years but when my membership expires this month I don't think I'm going to renew :|

honestly, i think the EoC update isnt like "runescape" coming from me that iv been playing since 2004, the whole game play and changes doesnt even feel like im playing runescape, it feels more like im playing "World of war craft" which i absolutely hate that game...so im not a big fan of this update.

Not sure if anyone in jagex staff even reads are complaints, because if they did they would see that EOC is a bad idea.. i mean seriously how many members have you lost? and then you have to bring back recruite a friend?? desperate much.. Just take away EOC, i mean you had the game without EOC for how long?? im pretty sure it was doing just fine, EOC changes the games 100% i dont even see how you can call it runescape anymore its not the same game at all, this isnt what i started playing and began spending my money on 8 years ago. I would say you have made some mistakes in the past but this is one of the biggest and i really hope you change it.
Even if you have plans in the future that you think are going to make it better, its still not the same game that we all start playing in the past

I also think you could atleast make a poll to change it back if you are having your doubts about it.
