I'm never paying for membership again, it just ended and I'm done. At least I'll have more free time on my hands now. Thank you Runescape, though, for all the fun years. It's so sad to see my favorite game becoming such a sellout and bringing in the worst and most ridiculous update ever.

When does the de-evolution of combat happen? when Jagex realizes this was another stupid idea.. this games been on a slippery slope since 06, but this takes the cake I can't even play combat anymore and it was my favorite part of the game.. friends of mine are of similar opinions. I can't imagine anyone who actually prefers this version of combat it's just awful!

Wann ist die de-evolution des Kampfes geschehen? bei Jagex realisiert dies war ein weiterer dumme Idee .. diese Spiele auf einem schlüpfrigen Abhang seit 06 gewesen, aber das nimmt den Kuchen kann ich nicht einmal spielen Kampf mehr, und es war mein Lieblings-Teil des Spiels .. Freunde von mir sind von ähnlicher Meinungen. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass jemand der eigentlich lieber diese Version des Kampfes ist es einfach nur schrecklich!

¿Cuándo la de-evolución del combate ocurrió? cuando se da cuenta de Jagex esta fue otra idea estúpida .. este juego fue en una pendiente resbaladiza desde 06, pero este se lleva la palma ni siquiera puedo jugar combate más y que era mi parte favorita del juego .. amigos míos tienen opiniones similares. No puedo imaginar a nadie que en realidad prefiere esta versión de combate es simplemente horrible!

cuando ocurrira la de-evolucion del combat? cuando jagex se de cuenta que fue otra idea estupida... este juego desde el 2006 ha hecho una serie de eventos que llevan a otros mas grandes*, pero este se lleva el premio, ya nisiquiera puedo seguir usando el combat, y era mi parte favorita del juego... mis amigos tienen ideas similares. no me puedo imaginar a alguien que de hecho prediera esta versión del combat, es simplemente horrible
* traducción de slippery slope, ya que la que el amigo hizo fue traducir cada palabra siendo que es una oración compuesta.

really, this isn't runescape anymore...
All the changed armour, the new armour, ruiined economy, and now the new combat system. Really, wtf. Perhaps ppl played this game cuz they liked it. Why should you change the whole system and game??
Runescape isn't runescape anymore, its the sad version of WOW or LOL...
But, this is my opinion, i'm already quitted after spending lot of funny years with membership...

jagex why did u implement this system i feel like imm not even playing runescape, i feel like imm playing world of warcraft again. the combat system was the reason runescape was what it was, i played through all the horrible updates you've brought out like a trade limit and getting rid of wildy, but this is just the worst update you have every brought out and i will never be playing runescape again**** 2006 runescape player

Hi i have played this game since around 2005 and i have bean a member for the most of that time and my constructive criticism of the EOC is that the armour items have become quite meaningless i mean say you have low constitution level then theres no real difference between rune and bandos in the way it douse not affect you're damage dealt and i can see it raises you're defence but because of this armour is just that there is no longer a link between armour and class (mage, range and melee) so i think soon you will find most people just always using ganondermic and other high level mage gear as nearly all monsters use melee and i think this could be a bit well silly people fighting the bandos god with light cloth armour and it being better than full heavy plate armour. also i feel that runescape is trying to be something its not in the new update for instance most of the updates resemble World of Warcraft and other big MMORPG,s runescape used to have a certain charm that you couldn't get from other games thats what set it aside from all these big games and i can see what the EOC is trying to achieve but i don't think its faire to just abolish the old game i mean i would call this game my Hobie (not really so much any more) and i don't think its faire for you to just change everything without properly considering the people who liked the old game can the old game not be lautched separately on a separate server i mean 2006 scape has just bean shut down (i bolive jadex sewed over copie rites) so why not make a server and take on all that extra custom plus all the players who quite at the release of EOC and make it maybe a members only feature or something or treat it as the separate game that it is and have separate membership i would be happy to pay more to play the old game thanks Moisture

Hello there. I quit playing around '06. but I've wanted to try coming back. Finally did, with the idea of bringing back several of my friends from the time. This new combat system is terrible, 500+ hp, 50+ damage, at lower levels? I may stay, but if I do, it won't be for combat, especially a WoW knockoff. I can't even get my friends to return, now that they've seen the system while I play. They said if they're going to use combat systems from other games, they'll stick with them.

....Well, I always did want to be more of a skiller, I guess I should thank you for making combat so unappealing I can work towards that goal now.
