Dear Jagex,

Together with my friends we've been playing RuneScape for many years. We started playing more then ten years ago. We never played constantly, but every year there were quite some months that we enjoyed this game. RuneScape was a game that we could play with low psychical and mental effort, since you'd only have to use the mouse. That's what we liked about the game, that you could play it relaxed. We recently started playing again and the new combat changes was a big surprise. It looked pretty good at first and we tried it out for two weeks. We then realized that to play RuneScape properly now, we have to constantly spam several buttons and it was physically and mentally much more intense then it has always been. In our opinion you destroyed the heart of the game and turned it into a weaker and pathetic version of World of Warcraft or other MMO's. Seeing all the other reactions of people around the world, i'm hoping that you either revert the new combat system or redesign it in a way that fits the game RuneScape. I know i'm just one of many people, but I really hope someone up there at Jagex reads this post and understands that the current state of the game is one that a lot of people don't like. Bring back the game that we loved to play.

b4 i ever think of login back to check stuff. i always refer back to the forum, and not once there is a good news. i'm grateful for quitting- cancelled membership b4 the stupid eco like all veteran players knew.... now i can focus more on education like i was supposed too. i'm 19 now, i have played on and off since 04. and i believe in evilrabbit statement... gl guys R1P rs

Read closely, he just used the "Red Herring" falacy to say something else that sounded better.

But they didn't answer "What made you feel that RuneScape needed the 'EoC Update'?"

Never expected them to ***** up as much as the update in 2008 where wild and free trade was taken away. Of course they were brought back because members quit, and greedy Jagex wanted their money back. Then they released sof, where they encourage you to buy spins which is practically the same as buying gp, which is supposed to be a big rule. Now this ****, seriously just look at the numbers of people online, I didn't see a single world over 1,000 today. Jagex are a bunch of dumb idiots who single handily brought their corporation to a crash, I hope each one of them goes bankrupt.
