Can players create seasonal highscores for their clan only? Up to 500 players?

Hi there - player's won't be able to create their own Seasonal HiScores right now :( . It's something we're interested in investigating, but I can't predict when it would go live right now.

With the new Website overhaul, I'm aware there is going to be no current change within the Forums (minus them being moved onto some new servers). Should we be expecting any changes within the near future? As the Forums are part of the Website and they're getting pretty out-dated now.

We are aware that the forums are of a different design to the new website and we will be phasing these over as and when we are happy they meet a high standard of quality. As the forums attract a lot of traffic, you can understand why it may take a while to do as testing alone will take a long time. ;)

Q.) In adventurer logs’, forum posts and around other areas of the website, will suffix player titles always be shown underneath players’ names, whilst prefix player titles always being shown above their names?

This would be a nice thing for us to do, but the current implementation we have doesn't allow the website to determine if a title is a prefix or a suffix. Unfortunately the amount of work to do this probably means we would have to stop working on other, much more exciting things! Mod Rascasse

What is the full extent of the customization of the new website? How complicated can it get?

@Eridyn, for the moment the most noticeable area of customization will be the featured links on the homepage. you can change 3 of the 6 buttons to link to your favorite areas of the website so you can quickly access those page each time you visit the site. We are hoping to get more features into the other sections of the website as we develop them.

My question is this: The picture I saw of the new Runescape website doesn't show a 'play old school' icon, where will that be when the new website comes out, as it doesn't fit into any of the boxes on the new website.

You can manage the boxes on the homepage to show the links you want. If you need to get to Old School quickly from the homepage, you can change one of those boxes to be a link to Old School and be there asap. :D

Will we be getting access to any new APIs (supported or not) with the new website? Things like quest completion, clan data, new highscores data.


We'll be releasing a new feed for the Seasonal HiScores, yes :) . Details on how this works will be posted on the RS Wiki upon release.

we would love to do another one but there are no plans to at the moment.

Q.) Have you considered having something like JAG implemented for the website in the future?

It won't be there for the launch of the RS3 website but we have further plans for ways we can improve JAG.

Keep in mind that many of the features on the account settings page (such as changing your password) require an email to be sent to your address to verify. Mod Rascasse

Q2. With a new Seasonal High scores (which I haven't seen on the layout of the new website unless it is integrated within the normal High Scores) that will be both Weekly and Monthly will you be the ones that come up with what each one will be or will we the players come up with each weekly and monthly seasonal highscores to compete for?

Howdy :) . Within the Seasonal HiScore system the content developers can specify whether or not a HiScores runs for X number of days, or X number of months (weeks would be done in 7 day increments). The HiScores themselves will be created by the Runescape content developers; but we're definitely going to be looking to the community for suggestions on what the HiScores themselves actually are :) .
