Built with PvP in mind. Always a little depressing to lose out, but it's still fun to share and see the slew of layouts players were able to come up with.

I have saved an almost identical one :P
Difference the friends list, notes, emote etc.. I added them inside the chat, made the map wider(fit same space you had having both) and also the inventory area I also added there all the melee, range, mage, def abilities since it has space to add those tabs there as well if more abilities were needed for changes.

All submissions were sent via email and neither silver or green crown's appear in an email. The winner was selected on the entry itself, not who sent it. We totally get it if you don't agree with the winner but claiming some kind of conspiracy is insulting to the winner and benefits no one.

We have nothing to gain from a 'rigged' contest. We ran this competition to give our players something to enjoy and encourage their creativity. If we had already chosen a winner or only wanted to give it to certain people we wouldn't have run the competition in the first place.

By all means disagree with the decision but keep it constructive.

the reason why most people aren't satisfied with the winning option is because it has no improvements to gameplay. It only has a mass of chat windows covering a whole side of the screen. Sure this would be beneficial if you couldn't put them in tabs, but this isn't the case. the winner just looks like someone who chats more than playing the actual game.

You would hide my comment because I would criticise the choosing of the winner and the current state of the game based on the opinions of the people commenting their displeasure? How... professional.

Contrary to what you may believe, I am not here just to display my displeasure, losing is a part of life, I am nor upset or angry about not winning. I am actually just here stockpiling all of the interesting interface setups in order to better improve my own and draw inspiration.

On the next competition I would hope the entries would be more carefully considered. If anyone could give a good reason as to why the entry was chosen, I would be content.

I have no idea what the selection criteria were and honestly, I did not enter this competition expecting to win. After all, this competition was named " Your NIS Design Competition", so I had some fun with the beta and designed something I liked. I dislike chat tabs and I dislike several conversations in the same window, so that's how the current layout came to be. Most of you seem to prefer minimalistic layouts and that's totally fine. I prefer having everything I need within reach above a larger game window.

Of course this was not the response I hoped for, but I'm not offended. NIS is about designing your own interface, so if you don't like mine - nothing's stopping you from making your own. :) And if there are a few players that like my idea or wish to build upon it, that's great.
