First off, I'd like to say that you're awesome. And I have a few questions for you. :)

1. Can we consider that every character is now aware of the events of The World Wakes?
2. Any hints on your plans for the Myreque series?
3. Why is there so much depth for the Zarosian characters, but little for the other gods followers?
4. Is Sliske still on the Zarosians side, or does he have his own ambitions?
5. When can we expect a "sequel" to TWW?

Sorry for so many questions, but I have another if it's ok.
6. Is Kharshai going to be in the sequel to World Wakes?

1. Yep. The Tribute to Guthix event was our way of telling the world about Guthix.
2. Still very much in our plans. Drakan would have a lot to say about the potential coming of the gods.
3. I'd agree to a point - the Zamorakian Mahjarrat have received just as much time in the sun as the Zarosian Mahjarrat, but they've always been an enemy, rather than someone to work with. I intend to buck that trend, if it helps! There will be a great deal more information and colour offered to the followers of other gods.
4. Ooooh, well, that would be telling! Sorry!
5. Since The World Wakes opens up a whole world of storytelling, I don't think you'll have to wait long! More direct sequels are in the works, too.
6. Kharshai will be in future quests, but none in the near future.

Could we get a lore-forum soon?

I've just given a sideways glance to the JMods next to me! They tell me that they're looking into it. They have a twinkle in their eye - I can tell they want to do it.

Hi Mod Osbourne, huge fan of all of your work :)

1. Is Kharshai just a neutral mahjarrat, or is he a guthixian mahjarrat?

2. Who is the rag and bone man?

3. Where is nomad now, and what is he panning for at the moment?

4. Will the device under polivneach in the dungeon ever be used, or has that been scrapped?

5. Who appointed King Roald as the king of varrock?

6. Is Reldo just a librarian, or does he have a deeper backstory?

7. How many mahjarrat are there in total?

8. What other creations has Kerapac come up with?

9. Is Sliske all for himself, trying to obtain godhood, or trying to get Zaros to choose him as his host body?

9b. If Sliske is trying to become Zaros's host body, is he trying to get the weakened Zaros into him so he can overrule him and use his remaining power for himself?

All I can think of for now, thank you so much for this opportunity :)

I absolutely love your name. It's Thokked my block off.

1. He's a neutral Mahjarrat who has to find a new place for himself now that Zamorak and Zaros are closer to the world. I'm interested to see what he does.
2. He reminds me a lot of my uncle.
3. It depends who you talk to. Mark O is sure that he's dead, I'm not so sure.
4. It's not been scrapped - it was a neat environmental inclusion that seemed to explain why the dungeon is like it is. I'm not sure what story I would tell about it...
5. My word! I have no idea.
6. His rise is explored in the novels, and he just seems like a deep lore enthusiast. I can definitely associate with him!

EDIT: Not part of my question but thought I should point it out. In your answer to Zoli Ben I believe you confused Ikov with Iban, I believe he/she was asking about the temple of Ikov :P

Anyway onto my question

A question on the abyss and Zanaris

I’m a bit confused about conflicting agendas on the structure of the multiverse and the cosmos, which has received large focus of late so I was wondering if you could shed some light on it? For example we see Gielinor is actually a planet, orbiting a sun with its own moon, yet many may also consider it to exist as a plane. Do the many worlds actually exist within the same plane as Gielinor? Or is each world confined to its own plane? Or is there inherently no difference between the words plane and world?

How does the abyss fit in with the previous question? Some say the abyss is a plane of its own, yet other accounts claim it acts as the ‘glue’ which holds together worlds, with the void existing where this plane has been torn apart by outside forces, yet these worlds, as previously mentioned are alslo observed as planets with space between them so which is it? Also we are told Zanaris acts as a hub world, with the fairy rings being forged from an extremely powerful, but dormant world gate. What about Zanaris gives it the properties of being able to interact with so many worlds (such as its place in the multiverse structure?)

I love this question! Okay, here goes - this is how I see it.

Imagine some Swiss cheese. The holes in the cheese are pocket-solar systems, with Gielinor and Zanaris inside - likely with some other worlds/planes. The Swiss cheese itself is made of the Abyss - a huge tissue-like structure that our teleportation magic takes us through as we move to other locations. The Void is an absence of anything at all, and it eats through worlds and The Abyss.

As for Iban, you're absolutely right! I suck! Ikov was a prominent follower of Armadyl - that's all I know. Hopefully we find out more in future Armadyl content.

Hello Mod Osbourne! Today I have limited my questions to involve the Myreque and the Mahjarrat storylines:

Myreque:
1. Why does Curpile Fyod still guard the Mort Myre base? And why didn't Vanstrom kill him when he entered the base?
2. Is there any future for poor old Ruantun? It would have been great to see him in the Myreque storyline.
3. What can you tell us about Calisidu? And will he ever be presented in-game?
4. Where did our man Flaygian Screwte go?
5. Will we ever see Drakan in-game?
6. Will Varrock send more help now as the Edicts are broken?
7. As the Myreque storyline is without a doubt one of the most popular storylines, have you started the development of Myreque 6?

Mahjarrat:
1. Will we see more of Hazeel? I would gladly help him retake Ardougne! And why does he have these cool horns?
2. Who is Khazard's father?
3. What happend to Khazard's mother, Palkeera?
4. What will be Kharshai first step to gather the Mahjarrats?
5. Why did Zemourgal start writing his notes?
6. When the Mahjarrats came to Gielinor, who was the boss among them?
7. Who are your favorite Mahjarrat, and why?
8. How did Lucian manage to create Moia?

I'm going to answer your Mahjarrat questions, as they're the most pertinent:
1. Yep!
2. A powerful Zamorakian
5. Prompts from Lucien, and because the Mahjarrat are always on the lookout for who could be the next target for the ritual.
6. Second Age, brought by Icthlarin. Even then, Zamorak was the most powerful, but Azzanadra has been the closest to matching him in power.
7. My answer has always been Sliske. He's inscrutable, and I get the feeling that the whole world is a game to him.
8. She is half-human, so it would have been through a relationship with a powerful human woman.

(CONTINUED FROM PAGE TWO)

24) In Recruitment Drive it was said that a man named Sir Vey Lance is leader of the Temple Knights . However in recent quests it seems more like Sir Tiffy Cashien is the leader - he is even explicity referred to as such during The Void Stares Back. Is Sir Vey Lance still part of the canon?

25) The Herblore Habitat, Jadinko Lair, Livid Farm, and Bakrimiel bolts are all loosely connected though Papa Mambo and the Jadinkos. Is this merely coincidence, or is it leading up to something?

26) Is the restriction on dancing exclusive to the Citharede Abbey, or is it a feature of the mainstream Saradominist Religion? As silly as it might seem, I'd really appreciate an answer to this one as it would settle a long-standing debate with one of my clanmates!

27) Where did the Spirit Realm and Spirit Beast come from?

28) Is the Strange Old Man Gargon? Even if not, how did he end up serving Sliske?

29) How did teleportation spells invented prior to the creation of Teleportation Beam at the Wizard's Tower work?

30) In light of all the new information that has been revealed over the past few months, what exactly is the primodial realm and the sacred clay found within it? Are the mystics really being contacted by revenants, or is there something far more sinister at work there?

31) Wizard Elriss reveals that she is looking for the Stone of Jas, and that she was tricked by a man who is likely Movario. Will this story ever get it's day in the limelight?

32) What happened to Postbag from the Hedge? They were rather sporadic over the past few years and now they seem to have stopped for good! Will it ever return?

33) Any plans in terms of what the topic of the next Motion Comic will be?

34) Mod Emilee has mentioned in an FAQ that you are working on a timeline for Gielinor. Do you have an ETA on this?

Can I answer a couple of yours? I hope I'll get to return to more of these if I have time!

33 - We have plans to expand the motion comic with the events of The World Wakes. As for future motion comics, I would love to - but the topic's got to be right, and we have to make sure there's a tale to tell. Any ideas for something you'd like to see presented in a motion comic?

34 - Yep. I want to produce a timeline for you all, so you know what we consider canon. It's hard to keep a sense of where the Stone of Jas has been, when Guthix was awake, when Zamorak was on Gielinor, etc. I often get my Fourth and Fifth Ages mixed up - it happens to the best of us!

Ok, so my questions:

1) Firstly, I've really wanted to be Saradominist but TWW and Tribute to Guthix memories have really been a test when it comes to that field. Would you describe Saradomin as a bad person? What's his goal/ideal for Gielinor? And does he enjoy the "church of Saradomin" style religion humans have created around him or is this just a completely separate entity created after his banishment and in no way related to him?

2) The Dragonkin seemed pretty intent on protecting the Stone of Jas. Is there any defence mechanism for the other elder artifacts, or is the Stone the "most important" so to say? I might just be a bit underinformed here.

3) Is Zaros good or bad for humans as it stands right now?

4) Is Saradomin's crown going to be elaborated on? Could it in theory find the Stone of Jas again?

5) Are there many more younger gods than we know of, are they all created by contact with elder artifacts?

6) I also wonder if you can tell us/give a hint to if there's more to the elemental workshop than it would seem? Do you know when we can continue our journey down through it? I always had a slight suspicion it could be bigger than just some armour... Maybe.

7) Give a hint to something cool that's gonna happen in the near future? :P

1 - I am so, so eager to offer you the more balanced view of Saradomin. We have an upcoming piece of content that very definitely does this, and it's time for you Saradominists to understand more about what Saradomin was about. It is true that the rules Saradomin set for his people are not the same as those he follows, but he has good reasons for this. Imagine Saradomin as the sheriff of a backwater Wild West town - there are varmints who are upsetting the peace, and the only way to remove them is to face them with gunfire. There is an element of selflessness in Saradomin, but also an unforgiving nature, that we really want to present.

2 - There are defence mechanisms for most of the Elder Artefacts. They are almost all double-edged swords, so to speak.

3 - I'd like to leave that for you to decide.

4 - Yes and yes.

5 - I wouldn't want there to be too many gods that you don't know about. It would just cheapen the sense of godhood and how special the gods are. I'd like each god to have real roots in the RuneScape universe. On that note, I can think of one mortal from RuneScape's past who has become a god in the intervening period, and one god who has names on the RuneScape map, but has not been mentioned in more detail.

1.) How does the Salve barrier work? Is it just along the river or is it a dome around the whole of Morytania?

2.) Now that the edicts are broke, doesn't this mean Misthalin can send troops to Morytania for war without breaking the edicts?

3.) Is it just a rumor that the old Icyene Queen is somehow related to Vanscella before she was turned into a vyre?

1. I see it as a wall, conceptually as long as any vampyre could fly. I don't believe it's a dome - it would be interesting to see if they made their way to the Eastern Lands...
2. There is a Saradominist element to the Salve. It's not fallen yet, so the Salve holds. The Edicts just stopped the crossing of the Salve IF someone could manage it.
3. There is a complex bloodline in Morytania. That's all I can say! There is definitely something that links the icyene and the vyrelords.
3.

I’ve been waiting for this opportunity since the last Lore livestream! So, enough introductions, Let’s get down to business!
The first batch of questions revolves around the Dragonkin!
1. Since the release of ROTM I’ve been patiently waiting for another quest to include these fearsome beings. But they haven’t shown their Draconic visages since the destruction of half Edgeville. Will there be any Dragonkin related quests coming this year? Will they finally find a cure for their infertility and break free from Jas’ influence?
2. Dragon armor was considered one of the best armor sets back in 2010. Since then it’s reputation has degraded to a purely cosmetic set. Will we be able (in future Dragonkin content) to smith the crimson metal and/or upgrade it?
3. While the unlucky inhabitants of Kethsi were burnt to a crisp before they could forge enough Bane equipment we’re able to forge unlimited amounts of Bane gear. Will we be able to use this ore to craft armory/weaponry to defend us against these vicious Beings? Will there be other things to craft with this ore other than ammo?

1. We know where we want to take the dragonkin, and I'm chomping at the bit to do more with them! They will have their time, but we have some god-related business to get into for the moment.
2. No plans as of yet.
3. Gah, I want to give you some more positive answers! Unfortunately we've got no plans that I'm aware of.

(continued)

9. In what form will the fate of Bilrach be revealed? (It is assumed the Strange Power event announced his death, but it could also have been Moia dying.) Whatever happened to him happened on floor 61 of Daemonheim, but I can't (and don't want to) see Jagex releasing a quest requiring 119+ Dung.

10. The Desert Gods seem to have been unaffected by the Edicts, seeing as we could interact with them before TWW. Why is that? I get that they didn't participate in the God Wars (even though Zaros took Icthlarin's Stern Judges away), but didn't Guthix banish all the gods (except Seren)? After all he wanted mortals to be free from divine rulership.

11. Why is Nex imprisoned again after TWW? Azzanadra says "Sliske released Nex from her icy cage".

12. A lot of people - myself included - are upset about the changes to Ancient Magicks brought about to accomodate the new magic weaknesses introduced with EOC. While "Bloodfire" is debatable, both "Gale" and "Rock" are - sorry for being blunt - ridiculous. Also, it's inconsistent - we still have the SMOKE dungeon, the SHADOW realm... Since the spells now have tooltips telling the player which "modern" element they correspond with, can you please act as protector of the lore and have the names changed back?

13. Commander Zilyana, as we learn in TWW, is ax crazy. Was she always like that? If not, what drove her into this state?

14. Can we expect the events kicked off with TWW to lead to new reveals in the Myreque storyline? With Saradomin back in Gielinor, wouldn't he want to find out what happened to the Icyene of Hallowvale?

15. Most of the Mahjarrat after ROTM look as if they are wearing masks in front of their hoods. Only Wahisietel (and Bilrach in Nadir) looks distinctly different (so does Kharshai, but he explains he has grown fond of his Fremnenik form). Is this intentional? Are they masks? If so, why? Or did Wahisietel grow fond of "Ali" and chose to keep the looks like Kharshai did?

I'd like to answer question 12, if that's ok. I'll try to get back to your other questions in a min.

12 - I've had conversations today about this. Obviously things may change in the near future, but there are plans to revert these names.
