I think the thought process went something like this:
A: Well we at Jagex can't even properly explain our own combat system to the players.
B: Well what else can we do? I guess we can continue to have the team figure out a better way to explain this new combat system.
A: No, we tried that already. I have a better idea. Why don't we just have our players do the work for us?
B: Brilliant! We can call it a contest and throw up some membership prizes and maybe some left over stuff laying around the office as a prize.
A: Best of all my good chum is that it's free labor. They do our job for us and we don't have to pay them anything!

Hope atleast one of them gets through.
When will prizes be given etc, and will you receive 25 spins/3 months members for every vid that gets approved, or just 1 prize per user?
