My family decided to take a trip from Ontario to Nova Scotia to visit family. We take the trip every couple of years because the scenery is beautiful and the eating is legendary. We have a house on a secluded beach just a few miles out of town. Once we settle in, we take a trip down to the wharf to find out when the fishing boats are coming in.
Seafood is really cheap when you buy it straight from the skipper. So we get about 10 pounds of shrimp and scallops and about 30 pounds of snow crab. We feast, rub our bellies and do so beachcombing. Aftern dark, we gather up a bunch of driftwood and light a bonfire, go for a night swim and sometimes break out a guitar and have a great time.
The next day we sleep in until noon, then get up and go fishing for mackeral, herring and mussels. In the evening we take a boat out for a sail into the sunset.
The neighbors are friendly and we all have a great time for a couple weeks.
After some goodbyes, we head back to Ontario, well rested and relaxed.
On off years, we sometimes take long weekends to a few vacation spots like Niagara Falls.

Hmm, a most memorable summer story? Alright, I got one. This happened a month ago. My family and I went to Destin, Florida. It was an amazing time with my family and friends. We went to the beach, and the to the pool and had tons of fun. But the one thing that made it memorable was this, I jumped in the POOL WITH MY IPOD! It was terrible when I realized I had it in my pocket. We left it in the sun all day hoping it would dry all the water inside, and that night we put it in rice until the next night. But it was no use my Ipod is forever dead.

This summer me and a few friends went on a cruise down to the Bahamas. We embarked on a 5 day cruise at the beginning of July that stopped in key west, FL, Nassau Bahamas, and freeport Bahamas. We went on these excursions at every stop we made on the cruise. While in key west, we snorkeled with dolphins, and stingrays --which was awesome!-- and in freeport we went diving in a reef about five miles off the coast with a lot of cool fish and whatnot. The best excursion i believe was in Nassau. Me and another friend decided to go snorkeling off an island called blue lagoon. We were with about 15 other people on this excursion. When we set off on this excursion the tour guide had warned about sharks being spotted recently around the area we were headed to. Me, being a pretty comical person thought it was a joke, but to find out it was no joke at all. We finally made it to the area we were going to snorkel and the water was disturbingly calm. Everyone got their gear and jumped in the water. Everything was going fine until a woman started screaming. I was only about 30 yards from the woman who seemed she had trouble swimming back towards the boat. About the time i realized what she was screaming about one of the tour guides yelled, SHARK!! I decided that i was going to somehow help the poor lady. Almost as soon as i started making my way to the woman, the shark had miraculously let go. the woman, who i later learned was named susan was bleeding around her left ankle and lower calf muscle. me and another man helped the woman back onto the boat. i work as a lifeguard back home so i knew some basic first aid. We had to cut the circulation off in her left leg and wrap her leg up to keep it from bleeding profusely. It was about 10 minutes until the coast guard/medical people arrived and hauled her off back to the hospital. i later learned that the woman made it and she was doing good. After all that chaos i was glad i helped save someones life. Man! what a summer!!

This summer i went to Wildwood with some friends for 1 week. The boardwalk was crazy awesome and so were hitting the waves too! We all got full day passes on most of their rides, but for those who live in NJ and went to wildwood, theres a ride called atmosfear. All it is is a tower that brings you up 150 ft into the air and drops you at 50-0 mph. Me and my 3 other friends went on it, one of them (my best friend) has the biggest fear of that one single ride. They slowly brought us up and stopped the ride at the highest point, and my friend was shaking and as soon as we dropped, he screamed as loud as i can hear, plus you couldn't hear anything from the drop. As we get off he stayed in his seat trembling and holding onto his seat without moving a muscle XD. After 2 minutes stuck on the seat we pick him up and he starts running away! We found him on a different pier which is half a mile away! Thats how i spent most of my summer vacation, also i kind of almost fell down my stairs at home ;)

Back in the summer of 2005 I got invited by 3 of my friends to go net fishing about 1km from shore so we have to use a outrigger canoe locally known as bangka. I hesitated but they convinced me to come with them so we borrowed a small bangka set out. In the end we somehow manage to lose the net which for a couple of kids like us was worth a lot and damaged the bangka which was even more expensive than the net. That was the most embarrassing and funniest summer I had.

my story begins on a sunday morning at 5:30am. hooked the boot up to go to the lake and go fishing with a friend mine. got to the lake started catching our live bait with my casting net after about an hour we had anough bait to fish. we went out non the lake fished for about 5 hours had a good day fishing. then the storm rolled in started thundering and lightning so we fired the boat up and went closer to the dock and started fishing there after about 20 minutes it started to rain really hard so i went to start the boat and the ignition caught on fire so after 5 minutes or so i got the fire put out. now my boat wont start and its pouring rain luckly another boater was coming in a gave me a tow. after another hour i got the boat loaded and was ready to head home and forget about this horrible day i was having. when i arrived home i wanted to get away so i got logged into Runescape and i started to spin the squeal of fortune first spin i got a med lamp but my second spin i hit the jackpot and scored myself a Fish mask that made the rest of my day areally good one first rare item i got one the squeal of fortune it really made my day. so thanks Runscape for brighting my day. it was a great day

I think my favorite summer is this summer. I was very involved in the beauty of theatre and the show I did was Jungle Book! I am very excited to be apart of more theater productions and other than that alot of it was hanging out with friends, enjoying the summer, and owning at dungeoneering to get my first chaotic weapon (25k tokens til) I celebrated a summer themed festival in my town and my community had so much fun! Although alot of the summer was hearing people rant about how Jagex has apparently "ruined" the game, which to be honest, I love the way we're headed! It gives players a chance to finally experience different tastes of gameplay!
Thanks for the game you've created! It's brought much pleasure and fun to my life!
Sincerely enjoying the sun,

Well last month I went to the beach for the first time ever. I went to Florida to see one of my closest friends and she decided since I'd never been before, to take me to Miami. The sights were AMAZING! We got to barbeque on the beach (though i burned the steaks T_T) and stayed at the Mayfair hotel. Honestly if you haven't been yet, you should go there the next time you're on vacation.
On top of that, my 4th of July was great, got to see tons of my family and shot off fireworks at the lake!
