Jagex has become skeevy enough with their own actions and words that I place little doubt in something of the sort happening.
Even the Wilderness and Free trade vote got plenty of skepticism.
91% said yes? While I realize having player killing back is great.. and being able to have whatever kind of trade you want is pleasing and how the game should be -
Free trade has the dark side of bringing back bots. And to be honest, I think more than 7% [9% if you count the Don't Care votes] were considering the downside of bringing it back which is another flood of bots. We have just that now, and I see far too many people complaining about their presence and how they ruin the game. In the unfortunate event that it was rigged.. they likely would have done something like that to receive more attention / memberships.

Since I am not from the UK, I never heard of George Sampson before seeing the George Sampson visits Jagex video, but I'm glad he had a good time on his tour of Jagex, and the dance moves for the emote looked cool. It takes a lot of talent to win a contest like Britain's Got Talent, with so many contestants, so he should be proud of winning, its a big accomplishment, and kudos.
I never realised the Tank belonged to MMG, I thought it was owned by Jagex.
As to the EoC, nothing is written in stone, which is why there is a beta. I am hoping for some significant changes before changes are made to the live game.
What I think needs to be changed most in the EoC so far is:
I'd like to not need to heal LP before combat because of putting armour on. Having a higher LP all the time seperate from armour worn would probably be better. I don't like LP being connected to armour, and think armour should not increase or decrease LP when put on or taken off, but should reduce damage when worn.
Bolts and crossbows not matching. I want to be able to tell immediately what bolts will work with what crossbow based on the metal used for the bolts, and not need a higher level crossbow because a bolt is enchanted. It would be much simpler if crossbows effected damage output, so a rune crossbow could still fire adamant enchanted bolts like ruby(e) and diamond(e), but a dragon or higher crossbow would make them more effective.
I would make it so an adamanant crossbow could fire any bolts made from adamant or lower including enchanted bolts, but rune crossbows or higher would increase the damage output from them.
Being able to know at a glance what bolt will work with what crossbow would be better and less confusing to me.
Also I want crossbows I can make to be useful and fire enchanted bolts.
Dual wieldling I think is a good idea, and I expect it will be better once tweaked.

Being that he is such a longtime player like myself, I hope George brought up how disgruntled he is about the Squeal Of Fortune Buyable Spins controversy.
Of course, if he did, they would certainly edit that out of the video, and pretend that he loves the Squeal. Jagex really needs to stop lying to themselves.
The biggest shame is that this comment will probably hidden or deleted, which just proves my point about the lies and coverups Jagex is doing.

LOL I love how you want a referendum for the EoC, just like the free trade and wildy one. THE ONLY REASONS why you would you like that would be:
a) you RWT.
b) you bot.
c) you're a whining pure.
The EoC gives pures no heavy disadvantage. Just not allowed to get as good defensive abilities.
Also, to the people who say RuneScape is going to turn into WoW, I have played WoW ~4 months when I was taking a break from RS, and I have to say, RUNESCAPE DOES NOT RESEMBLE WORLD OF WARCRAFT IN THE SLIGHTEST DETAIL. The action bar in WoW is entirely different than the action bar in EoC. In the EoC you can skill with it. WoW, you cannot. In the EoC you use adrenaline. In WoW you use mana, energy, focus, and rage. In the EoC you can choose any class. In WoW you are bound to the class you choose. In the EoC you get abilities for free. In WoW you have to pay for them. In the EoC abilities focus on weapon damage. In WoW, it's damage per second only. In the EoC you use runes. In WoW, you use mana. In the EoC you use arrows. In WoW, arrows do not exist. In the EoC you have melee, ranged and magic. In WoW, you have Warriors, Hunters, Druids, Warlocks, Paladins, Rogues, Priests, Death Knights, Shamans, and Mages. The only thing that might resemble WoW, is cooldowns, but those play a small part in an entire game.

Great video, never knew who George was but a quick google search informed me. Thats pretty cool how he plays runescape and was invited to the studio...and the tank is pretty sweet, would love a ride! In response to several people complaining about SOF and EOC, I have two things to say.
1. The SOF is optional! If you don't want to buy spins don't! We have a free market, so if you want to spend real money on more spins, be my guest! Or if you are like me, just use your free spins and no big deal.
2. The Evolution to Combat is the biggest update in RS history, so of course players will have a lot of opinions regarding it. There are certainly things I don't like about it however there are also a lot of aspects that I do enjoy, such as how combat is way more interactive than before. This is a beta, Jagex will obviously do some more work with the combat before releasing and then when it does come out I'm sure it will be a great enhancement to an already great game.
