It seems like every supporter of the EoC thinks that anyone who doesn't support it hates it because it ruins PvP and pures. I am all for making PvP more difficult and ruining pures but i am still not looking forward to the combat update at all. Im unable to play the beta because of my computer but from what ive heard from friends and seen in videos that Jagex released, i think the beta is going to ruin PvM and general combat like slayer. Ive heard that prayers fail now (especially turmoil) and that just fighting stuff normally involves a lot of concentration and effort. Im concerned that im going to have to do my entire 240 dark beast tasks with constant clicking and eating because prayers dont block the damage and im afraid im going to get destroyed at corp because im too busy dealing with and action bar to eat.
Im all for the new armor pieces and graphical changes that are coming along with the update, but if what everyone says is true, it's going to ruin PvP, and if what ive heard is true it will make PvM and slayer more difficult. If PvP, PvM, and general combat like slayer are all ruined or made more difficult or bothersome, what kind of combat is the update benefiting?
