Having a newsletter is a great idea!
I would love reading a summary of events from other clans. Especially the D&D anniversary celebration that just passed.
Would be interesting to get to know the inner workings of other clans.
Looks like Jagex is not only trying to improve the game, but also trying to get connected with the community and their players. Very good Idea!

Just wanted to add a question following the concerns of the player who wanted ingame updates instead of forum updates. Would forum mods be working on this section of the newspapers and game developers work on in game updates? So the newspaper would not affect the developments of the game, correct?

The NewsLetter idea sounds great! I can't wait to see what it turns out like. It'd be awesome if we could hear what's going on around RuneScape like if anything in particular big has happened like a 2Bil drop party in the party room or if a gigantic Clan Event has happened. Really really can't wait! :D

the newsletter thing is pretty cool... but since this thread is under the catagory of "Furture updates" i think every one should look at my thread on item suggestions

its really cool... it alredy has some good ideas... and if i get the attention of a moderator for that thread.. we could have some more cool pets in rs!!! :D

Hey, I do support the idea.
Will you be looking for normal players to act as editors and journalists? If you are, I could put a team together. ^_^

P.S It could be player run, for example, there could be lead editor, journalists, scribes, scouts, sport editor, events edotor and so on so on.
The Jmods could add the formatting on the thread, and us players could add in all the text, edits, and items.
What do you think?
